Tour was great. Just the right length. Awesome tour guide. Learned so much about the area. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide, Robi, was awesome. He was friendly, very knowledgeable not just about the district, but the whole city of New Orleans, and made the tour so fun....we almost forgot about the heat! We were given water for the walk, and Robi was constantly checking on everyone to be sure we were doing well in the heat of the city. I would absolutely recommend this tour to my friends and family and especially our tour guide. Great time, very much worth the money.
Most people are familiar with the French Quarter and its history. This tour educates you about a different part of New Orleans Garden District while also giving you the opportunity to see several beautiful and historic homes. Our guide Robi was well versed in New Orleans history and the architecture. I world recommend this trip to anyone.
This is a tour not to be missed! Our tour guide Robi was awesome! His knowledge of the history, homes and architecture was amazing! I loved every second of I!
Our tour was great. We are still telling friends about it months later. The guide was good, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to approach with questions. Every thing happened on time, but nothing was rushed. We saw plenty of people wandering around with maps trying to do their own tour - pay the money and go on this one, well worth it.
Robi was an excellent tour guide. He was informative, funny and cleared up a few things for me about the Layette graveyard. I throughly enjoyed my tour and would recommend it to everyone. The only thing he couldn't control was the weather, but he did brings fans for us. That was wonderful.
The tour was actually more than we could have hoped for. Robi, the tour guide, was extremely professional. He's well-Informed and meticulous about caring for the group.
Marsha did a wonderful job taking us through the district and she was so informative and pleasant. It was a very interesting tour.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She took us places we never would have found on our own. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide Michael was very knowledgable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Whaf a delightful tour of the Gardeb district! Our guide was amazing she was so knowledgeable and spoke with such ease! I wish it was 2 more hours long!
Great tour and a ton of fun information. Robi, our tour guide made things very interesting
This tour was perfect. Even in the rain. Robi, our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour.
This was my first visit to New Orleans. I found this tour to be a fantastic introduction to the area. The explanation of the workings of the cemetery system was astounding. This is a beautiful tour in the spring time.
This was a very informative tour. Our guide Carol did a wonderful job in describing the houses, the architectural styles and what was distinctive about the Garden District. Wear good shoes though--the sidewalks were uneven.
Libby was great - clearly knows her history and really brought neighborhood to life!
This was a great tour!! Libby, our guide, was wonderful and had so much information about the area. Enjoyed learning about the Garden District and the Lafayette Cemetery!! Highly recommend this tour!!!
Our tour guide was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and made the tour most enjoyable.
A second visit inside a home would have been good, as we only went into one, but we learned a lot about the styles and types of architecture used in many buildings.
It is a must to get out of the French quarter and learn the history of how it all got started. Carol was great and even though it was freezing, we had fun. Cemetary was amazing!
The architecture and history as well as local pop culture references made for an interesting and varied tour. Our guide, as a New Orleans native, was knowledgeable and the opportunity to see the Garden District and the Cemetery with that depth of knowledge as our guide was a great resource. Educational and entertaining. I recommend that you call ahead to make sure the procedure for check in is followed as we walked from our hotel on Royal to the ticket book by the Cafe du Monde and then over to the lighthouse check in where the van was waiting. The trains and trolleys have an impact on when the vans can get through that area so be as considerate as you can with an early arrival about 20 minutes before tour departure.
