This was an excellent tour. The tour guide was very knowledgable and interesting. I throughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend it.
This tour was amazing and very informative. We went through one of the cemeteries which I didn't expect but was very pleased. Our guide Brad was so smart and seemed to really enjoy his job. I would suggest this tour to anyone any age and I hope you get Brad as your guide.
This tour was run by Gray Line tours and it was wonderful. The tour guide was knowledgable and moved the tour along at a good pace. We learned and saw a lot and it was definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it. One note bring a bottle of water. You stop quickly at the end of the tour for a refreshment but it does get hot along the walk.
The Beautiful Garden City with it's rich history and architecture is something I personally recommend, if you would like to get out of the French Quarters for a while. Our Guide was a fountain of information and made this for a very pleasant morning stroll.
This was a delightful way to be introduced to this section of the city. The tour guide was entertaining, personable, and has a lot of knowledge of the history, and there's tons of history in this city! Even the bus driver, who I assume was also a tour guide as well, had much to say about the history while we were waiting to begin. I will recommend this to my friends!
This was a well researched and thorough tour. Our guide was phenomenal and entertaining!
My wife and I took the tour and absolutely loved. As residents of New Orleans, we learned more about the history of the city than we had before.
The tour was great. We were given a lot of history about New Orleans and the French Quarter. We were also given a lot of history about specific homes in the Garden District. It is a beautiful part of the city and I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to New Orleans.
Great tour, very informative and interesting. Only negative was not spending enough time in Lafayette Cemetery..
Sandy was our tour guide and she made the experience all that more enhanced because she added stories of the area and NOLA because she grew up there. Everything worked like clockwork and we got just enough time in the area to be sated while being able to go back to the French Quarter and hear some great jazz at the festival.
This was a very interesting tour. Our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable. It was like walking in history.
I highly recommend it. I gave it 4 stars, the info was too detailed for me, I have a very short attention span:-
Otherwise, it is an excellent tour.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job with the tour
Loved it, the tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. Had plenty of information that wasn't readily available!
My daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Carol was very knowledgeable and gave great details in explaining everything, she was a great story teller!
Carol did a wonderful job showing us around the Garden District. There was a lot to learn, and a lot to see. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the city, the architecture, and the famous people who have lived there.
Great tour - our guide was full of information and happy to answer questions. Great way to see the area!
Well, we didn't stop for refreshments on this tour, which was disappointing, but otherwise it was a very informative and interesting tour of the Garden District. My favorite part was we actually went inside and saw one of the mansions and our guide pointed out where certain celebrities have their homes. Overall, a very good tour, just don't expect to have any refreshments.
The tour docent was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed the tour very much! The only thing I had a problem with is the address to pick up the tickets was not clearly noted on the internet so there was some confusion on my part as where to go.
Very interesting and lovely homes--it rained but our tour guide was helpful and interesting (Marcia). Don't forget your umbrella and sensible walking shoes. The streets are a mess!
We had a fabulous tour guide - Marcia. We got to wander the beautiful streets of the Garden District with an engaging, informative and witty southern bell!! Thank you.
Tour was nice! And so was the guide. I just wish they would have dropped by the American Horror Story house which at one point was a block or two away.
