An excellent tour, with great guides. The swamp tour showed us glimpses of the local environment, including alligators! The two plantation houses were a study in contrast: one Creole and one American. Fabulous guides at all three stops. The guide at Laura Plantstion was particularly good. He brought the history alive with stories of the families who lived there.
This was a wonderful tour. Very professionally done. Our guide was awesome. So knowledgeable, prompt, interesting and helpful. The plantation tours, lunch and swamp boat ride were great. Well worth it!!
Excellent tour - the Swamp Tour with the Torres people was excellent. We didn't just get a tour of the swamp but also a really great understanding of what's important for people earning a living from the swamp. The 2 plantations - Oak Alley and Laura - were excellent as was the lunch. Thanks for a great memory
our guide was fabulous I learned so much from our tour our guide was so knowledgeable loved it thaks
We really enjoyed the Tour. Everything was perfectly organized and programmed. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and a wonderful source of information on everything we saw. We loved it !
That tour was extremely well organized. Our tour guide was a wonderful creole gal with lots of information to keep us interested. Cajun country was beautiful and relaxing. The weather was fantastic. A perfect day!
I booked this tour for Thursday, but they called me to say they needed 6 people for it to be a go. They kept me informed almost daily. When I got to NOLA they allowed me to switch my day so I could do the tour I really wanted. The tour guide Dianne was pleasant and very knowledgable. I would not hesitate to book with them again!
This was an excellent tour! Enjoyed the small group. The swamp tour guide, Roland was very informative and interesting. The Oak Alley and Laura Plantation tours were beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour.
Great tour of the creole plantation, Laura and Oak Alley w/lunch. Small (congenial) group, well informed driver (Diana w/Tours by Isabella ) who shared much information along the way. Swamp tour was unimpressive but now we know!
Great Tour. The tour guide were priceless. They were all natives of Lousiana and did an incredible job. If you are considering the tour, which I highly recommend, request Stanley as your tour guide.
Booking on viator, we received a child rate not offered by the tour company directly. The tour itself was pretty good, our guide was on time with hotel pick up, he was very knowledgable and approachable. The lunch was very good and quick service. I preferred the Laura plantation tour over Oak Alley. Oak Alley was only a tour of the main house and did not allow you to take pictures inside or enter many of the rooms. At Laura we toured the main house, plus some of the grounds and out buildings and could take pictures anywhere. Prices in the gift shop were very reasonable as well. The airboat tour was very good, our guide here was very knowledgable as well. Unfortunately too cold for the gators to be out but amazed with the ride and where the airboat could travel, very cool experience and overall great tour.
