This is a must for your to do/to see list when you visit New Orleans. It was VERY romantic, the food was fantastic, and the jazz trio was wonderful.
I would recommend this to anyone visiting New Orleans. I wanted to experience the feel of New Orleans and to hear some jazz at the same time. They made it happen. The food was delicious and the service the best. I felt like I was in old New Orleans experiencing jazz. The restaurant setting is perfect. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent food and service. Many choices were available at Buffet. Enjoyed the courtyard setting on a beautiful , sunny morning. Arrived about 9:30, and avoided lines.
Love this tour simply because it was all the foods of New Orleans in one place. The atmosphere was a real southern feel. This was especially so because there was a group of women dining near us that were from a stitching club and were wearing their fancy big hats and gloves and dresses. The staff was kind and courteous and very friendly. There is a history to this facility which is summed up on the back of the fans that we were given to take home as a souvenir. Make sure to make a reservation and enjoy not only the food but the beauty of the inside and the gardens outside.
Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic food. Wonderful service. Will go back for sure !!!
Ate there 50 years ago on our honeymoon and found the place just as good. Food great with good service.
This was a really wonderful experience. Great Music and Fabulous Food - what more could you want? Once inside the Restaurant (what a unique setting) the staff were fantastic - explaining the foods and describing the full buffet selection protocol. Take your time, enjoy the ambience and try all of the unique Creole food. The reception staff were a bit vague but then again it was the coldest day in New Orleans in a very long time (3c).
Not to be missed as it's also right in the heart of things - I'd confirm though, it gets really busy. :D
This was our first tour in New Orleans.
We wanted to experience a sampling of traditional dishes so we would know what to order during our
week long stay. Because it was cool we were unable to sit out on the shady patio.
Probably better to book this earlier than November but it still was lovely inside and the food was amazing!
The restaurant is lovely. The outdoor seating is the only way to go. The buffet brunch was incredible. An amazing selection of food. My only complaint was that we were too far from the live jazz...it could have been louder.
Great food and great music. We were 45 minutes late due to a trolley issue and they were still able to seat our large party at tables in one area. This was second time there and I'm sure I'll be back.
Wow was this a find, actually found it originally on trip advisor and it was worth every penny.
It was silver service in the courtyard out the back, quite a surprise from the front entrance which didn't,t reflect what you found in the courtyard.
Food was great, as was the service. The little jazz trio was a bonus, and the place was packed.
It is a must.
Service and food was fantastic! Loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the live jazz band music playing in the background while we enjoyed our brunch!
