Hop aboard your luxury train at the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal. Your train departs at 1:45pm, but you may board as early at 12:30pm to enjoy lunch. From the moment you board, your attentive crew will provide the highest level of service.
You’ll ride aboard restored train cars from the original Pullman Company, an American pioneer in the rail industry in the late 19th and 20th centuries which served as a prototype for the modern hospitality industry. The train’s classic furnishings and sophisticated décor take you back in time, while its modern amenities including showers, power outlets, complimentary Wi-Fi and personalized service ensure maximum comfort throughout your entire ride.
Enjoy daytime views of farmlands, the Lower Mississippi Delta region, Civil War-era towns, rivers, mansions, the Pass-Manchac waterway and the alligators of the Louisiana Bayou. Lunch will be served in the afternoon, followed by a gourmet 4-course dinner in the evening.
Grab drinks from the open bar and relax and socialize in the lounge, which offers a selection of newspapers, magazines, board games, DVDs and books. The lounge is open all night for your convenience. You'll have a layover in Memphis around 10pm, so feel free to get out and stretch your legs.
Choose from three superior accommodation types to suit your preferences. The following day, you'll be served breakfast as you take in views of Chicago’s city skyline. Seating for breakfast is available until 8:45am, and you'll arrive at Chicago Union Station around 9am.
