This tour was incrediable. As we were the only one's booked on this tour, they fitted us onto another tour that also include the Katrina sight seeing.
Driver was excellent. She had maps, pictures and so much information that was passed around the shuttle to show us how bad the cyclone was.
Very informative and we had a wonderful time.
Highly recommend this tour.
We totally enjoyed the tour. The tour guides were not only knowledgable but friendly. It was like we were their friends not just their guests. We felt like we were family. We enjoyed the Southern hospitality!!! Thank you so much. Joel and Sharon
Joseph, the driver, made this tour special. Joseph grew up in the area and lived through Katrina. Joseph's knowledge of the area and the history made this a memorable experience. Seeing the houses still shuttered down due to Katrina brings this tragedy to life.
I really enjoyed the tour. Very informative and interesting. I would definitely recommend it.
This was a wonderful trip and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We wanted to see and understand how New Orleans experienced Katrina and was has come about since that time. This tour filled all of our expectations. We learned about all of the different neighborhoods, toured a graveyard and stopped off at the New Orleans park. We have been going to New Orleans for years and we were looking for something different. This tour was perfect. And we enjoyed the small group. Thank you for organizing this tour.
This tour was amazing. Our guide Joseph, gave us a detail history about what happened during the Katrina's hurricane flood, and the tragic time those people lived. We saw the levees and the abandoned houses marked with the X for the National Gard . Joseph was very nice and his knowledge about the city , the cemetery, the parks, gave us a background about the city we wanted to see.
The perfect introduction to New Orleans for us, first-time visitors, thanks especially to our amazing guide, Dylan.
Our guide was very well informed and informative.
The tour was an excellent introduction to our New Orleans visit. It helped us choose the places we wanted to visit, oriented us to the "layout" of the districts so we were able to find our way around in them and answered our questions about the impact Katrina had and continues to have on New Orleans.
Joseph, our tour guide, was great and extremely knowledgeable! We were a little skeptical because we really wanted the post Katrina tour (didn't have enough people for that tour) but this tour had everything, including a lot of Katrina information.I highly recommend this company and especially Joe!!
This was an information-packed tour. We took this tour on our last day in New Orleans. We learned more in that 4 hours than we had in a week. Ginnie was extremely well versed in historical and Katrina facts. She talked non-stop but was captivating. Some information made us laugh while other stories brought tears to our eyes. I'm so glad we took this tour.
this tour was well worth the time it took, about 41/2 hrs. Our guide was a local and had many personal experiences to share which made the Katrina part of the tour very interesting. Our group was full of questions and thus spent about 1/2 hour longer than expected but all found it very interesting. The tour picks you up at your location and that was a big plus.
This was our first tour after arriving in New Orleans and we always like to get familiar with our surroundings. Joseph was our guide and he picked us up exactly when he said we would be picked up. The van was not full and there was only five people but it was nice not being packed in the van. Joseph is a native of New Orleans and his knowledge and delivery of so much history was so enjoyable. I would recommend this tour as a beginning tour so you can see the past, the present, the cemeteries, and our trip down St Charles Street where they have the Mardi Gras events was a highlight. We stopped in the middle of the tour to have some coffee and bignets at a park where they also had clean restrooms. We were there for 15 min and was a nice little break to relax before finishing the tour. It is a tour filled with New Orleans history and that it what we enjoy when vacationing to unknown cities.
The tour was was very knowledgable. Recommend for people with deep interest of New Orleans history. I fit somewhat less in that category and tended to be a little too long for my interests. On the other hand, many others enjoyed the details.
Not very well presented while we were driving along. Tour guide seemed to have an agenda.
