This was an excellent tour at a great price. We were exposed to tasting foods we never would of ordered in a million years and every stop was outstanding. Lisa was personable, knowledgeable and professional discussing local restaurants, New Orleans and French Quarter history. Highly recommend.
The very best and most perfect eating tour ever. Our guide, Lisa, was so knowledgeable and interesting, it was a pleasure to see the French Quarter. The foods we sampled were delicious and nice size portions. The French Market is a "must see". I would do this tour again. Thank you for this exceptional experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
Really enjoyed, it was wonderful, the tour guide was excellent, Highly recommend
Wanda was a fantastic (and very knowledgeable) tour guide. The tour was at a good pace and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Big Easy.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, took us to some great places for food and gave plenty of advice on other places to try. She gave honest opinions and was happy to answer any questions about New Orleans-even if not food related! I would definitely recommend this tour! It was fantastic!
Great tour! Great food!! Great tour guide!! Great choices for tour stops!!!
our original day for this tour was cancelled once we arrived in NO. We were able to connect with another tour agency with tons of help from Viator. The tour was fantastic. A lot of history about some of the old restaurants in the quarter. We went to some restaurants that we would not have readily tried without this tour.
This tour was outstanding!! Everything from the food to the tour guides was perfect! I would definitely do this tour again!
We had a wonderful time, on our Walking and Eating Tour of New Orleans. Our guide Julie was very personable, well informed, and was a pleasure to spend the morning with. Her selection of places to see, and the menu she chose for us was great. This tour is a "Don"t Miss" it will be a highlight of your visit to NOL.
This tour, with all the history and the great food, was way more than we had hoped for. Loved it, would do it again next time we are in N.O.!
It rained on the day of our tour, so we were bummed before it started, but our tour guide called us ahead of time to reassure us that we'd still have a good time, and she told us where we could find a Walgreens to buy an umbrella. Super nice!
We went to four tasting locations -- a small, off-the-beaten path restaurant that we otherwise wouldn't have found; a restaurant called Antoine's, which is one of the oldest in town and has a lot of historical rooms and Mardi Gras memorabilia; the French Market, where we had tastings from three different food shops; and a dessert shop. The tastings were plentiful, and we were pretty full by the end of the tour, so it's perfect for lunch. We had gumbo, muffuletta, pralines, sweet potato biscuits, oysters Rockefeller and gelato. We also stopped by a quirky local cookbook store and a spice and herb shop. Julie (our guide) was very knowledgeable about the city's food scene, and she had lots of fun facts to share. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely do this again.
It was amazing!! Right from the start, our guide made us feel like we were all one big family! With this being my first trip to New Orleans, It was a trip to remember! The food was great! Especially the sweet potato biscuit, with the sweet sauce! This is a must for any newcomer or native of New Orleans!
