We bought the pass for the entire week. It was so accommodating to hop on the trolley right outside our hotel and to ride throughout the city, seeing things we would not have noticed (like the Holiday Inn clarinet!) and learning the history of the city and being told what we were passing and which side to look on.... rather than just renting a car and riding, looking for street signs. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and informative as were the drivers. Our ticket included two walking tours which we never had time to do as there was so much to do that we were unable to accomplish everything we intended and have to return. The trolley was decorated for Mardi Gras at the time we were there which added a festive touch. The trolley stopped at everything we wanted to see and more. Recommendations were suggested and walking directions given from the trolley stop. My only suggestion would be that the trolley start running earlier in the morning and/or run later into the evening, especially during Mardi Gras season. Loved it!
The tour was as advertised and even better. The narration was informative and presented by a tour guide who seemed generally interested in his city. Well worth taking.
convenient, extremely qualified guides. guides were extremely friendly. very good value. they offered extra discount cupons.
Getting the week long ticket was a great way to see and do a lot. It more than worth the price.
The HOHO bus was a great way to get yourbearings and see all the main attrations in the FRENCH Quarters and Garden diztrict. The tour guides were all very informative and helpful with any questions anybody had. We also took advantage of all the free walking tours, which again were very informative and of the discount coupons for the war museum and other venues. Definity recomend the 1 week pass.
Great guides. Added on once I got there to have another day. Garden tour was my favorite!
We purchased the seven day package and it was very good value. It was only $10 more than the two day ticket and it also included walking tours of the French Quarter and the Garden District. We had great weather so it was great sitting upstairs in the open air. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They shared a lot of information on New Orleans and made our visit to the city much more enjoyable.
I'm from Louisiana and had never taken an actual tour. I took my sister on the tour for her birthday. We had the BEST time in NOLA ! The tour took us to places that we had never seen and we ate in restaurants that we had never heard of....delicious of course. I suggest the pulled-pork nachos The Rum House and the bloody marys :-) Loved being able to hop on and off the bus as we wanted. This made is possible for us to stay at the locations we wanted as long as we wanted then we just hopped back on and went to the next location. Taking my fiancé in May for the same tour. He has never been to NOLA and will love this tour.
The Hop on Hop Off Bus Tour was a great way to see and experience New Orleans. The Tour Guide for each of the buses we took were local inhabitants and were very knowledgeable about the history and culture of New Orleans. They also had a great sense of humor.
The tour was great. It took us by the various sights and gave us information on all of them. The opportunity to hop on and off is the main reason I chose this tour. The WW II museum was one of the main reasons we visited New Orleans.
It was our first trip to New Orleans and we thought the Hop ON and Off would be a great way to start off and plan what we wanted to see. The tour bus was on time and we were off. Our guide ( Unfortunatey I can't remember her name) was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We completed the entire tour without getting off the bus and then they took us back to the French Market where we got off for lunch and shopping. We had a great time with our guide and would highly recommend it to anyone going to New Orleans.
This is a must do for anyone visiting the first time like ourselves! Randy, our tour guide was a scream! He made the day! We were able to truly get around and see first hand all the different sites with little or no effort on our part and truly learned a lot of new facts and history about New Orleans.
