This was a lot of fun and we had a chance to try some of our favorite original cocktails in the locations we visited...our guide was fun and made it interesting.
It was particularly interesting to see the inside of Antoine's and get all the history about the location.
Brian was an awesome tour guide and knew a lot about New Orleans cocktails and their history! I would highly recommend this tour!!
It was everything we expected and we certainly were not disappointed. Great tour guide who was interesting and knowledgeable.
We all thought the tour was great, and the tour guide was very knowledge of the history and the events of New Orleans, great tour, great drinks, very nice staff. Thank you
We had a great time and we learned a lot of history about the city and culture as well
Learning about the history of the different bars and cocktails was very entertaining. I think that they should have included some food along the way as we all became pretty hungry with only alcohol to consume. Worth the time.
The cocktail tour was fantastic and Joe was a great guide. I'd already been in NO for nearly a week when we did the tour but everywhere that Joe took us was new to me! It was very informative and interesting and the drinks weren't bad either! I'd highly recommend this tour.
Tour was very interesting saw and learned a lot of history about New Orleans. Very informative and fun everyone in our group had a great time would do it again
This tour was excellent! So much fun and really informative. Our guide was a treasure and I'd definitely recommend taking part in this tour. Drinks are not cheap at some of the higher end places we went, but were well worth it:
Great tour. Got to see some great bars, restaurants and courtyards. Sandy was an excellent guide. Lots of suggestions and good information.
The tour was amazing our guide had been doing the tour since it had begun and he was so knowledgable! The drinks were so interesting to learn about and also the history of the city! We loved it and wld def do it again if we come back !
Our tour was led by Joseph, who is an amazing person and as a New Orleans native, the perfect person to introduce us to some of the rich history this city has to offer. He was able to include personal anecdotes along with the historical background to the places that had, amongst them, been the birthplace of the cocktail and other well known drinks including the sazerac. A fun AND informative walking tour that flew by!
Such a fun and informative afternoon. Our tour guide Sandy was awesome. True Southern lady, we loved it and he places we visited. Highly recommend!
I have been to New Orleans dozens of times, but this was the first time we did an organized tour. It was GREAT! I think a tour guide makes or breaks your tour. Sandy was our guide and she was so much fun. We actually ran over on time because our group was just hanging out having to much fun. I will do this tour each time I visit in the future.
Joe was wonderful. His grandfather invented the PoBoy bread. He was warm, interesting, funny, engaging, and the tour was a very big success. We did not drink much, but the idea was to learn about the history surrounding the drinks and the bars, and not necessarily to get drunk. Highly recommended with Joe.
this tour was a lot of fun, interesting history thrown in and a great Guide, Joe.
My wife and I were in New Orleans for a convention and booked this tour for the afternoon of our first full day here. It was a fun and very interesting activity. Our tour guide, Brian, was exceptional. He knows a great deal about the history of New Orleans, cocktails, and the best bar tenders in the French Quarter. His stories were fun and brought to life the characters of which he spoke. He put all members of our group at ease and we had a very pleasant time. The pacing of the bar visits was excellent (5 stops in just over 2 hours) and puts one in the perfect mood for a great dinner of fine New Orleans food after the tour. This is one fun way to spend an afternoon in the French Quarter!
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this historical tour. We visited many bars and restaurants in the heart of the French Quarter. Our tour guide Joe Gendosa was fabulous, very articulate and a wonderful story teller. We left tour with much more information and understanding of the French Quarter, and all its beautiful past history!
