Fantastic tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The tour is heavy on fascinating history and a look at some of the streets of New Orleans you might not otherwise feel comfortable walking about.
Thank you Wendy! All though it was extremely cold the tour was very interesting. I learned about the history of Louisiana's French Quarter. It was really cool =)
Wendy was amazing!!! She had all of these anecdotes and jokes to tell us. She made the whole tour great! I wish we had time to go one the ghost tour with her.
Although this seemed more like a history tour (not that I expected to see any vampires) it was still very interesting and enjoyable and quite spooky.
I thought this tour may be a little kitschy, but it turned out to be a fun and very interesting tour of New Orleans and its connections to vampires and the historic events that have promoted and integrated fact and fiction. Jonathon, my guide, was excellent and he took us to the only three remaining French buildings in New Orleans (all other building were Spanish or American in flavor). Definitely a fun tour that I would recommend even to people not interested in vampires as it's as much about history as anything else.
We weren't sure what to expect for this tour, but having done other tours by the same company thought we would go along and see. The tour was fantastic. Johnathon, our tour guide was bother knowledgeable and entertaining. Given the topic of vampires, we wondered what he would fill up two hours with. He had no trouble telling us story after story of the vampire legends throughout history and those relating to New Orleans. He also told us about the general history, some ghost stories and basically macarbre moments in cities past. Fantastic tour and great guide!
this tour was so interesting. i loved it. very memorable and the guide as very good. a must if you're into the vampire paranormal
Loved it. Tour even got my friend interested a bit in vampires.
Best New Orleans tour period! The guide was superb - informative, engaging and just a little off (in a totally great way). We were able to see an interesting side of New Orleans with marvelous creepy stories and a great atmosphere. Excellent, excellent time!
This tour was awesome! Our guide, Jonathan Weiss, was the BEST. He made it fun, informative and scary!! If you go on this tour you HAVE to make sure he is your guide. We will definitely go on this tour again and others. Unfortunately we just didn't have the time this time around.
The Vampire Tour was great. Our guide was entertaining and informative. I overheard another tour member ask about a book, so I was anxious to pick one up myself. Sure helpful when trying to remember all the names, places and circumstances mentioned on the tour.
Tour guide was very, very good. His stories challenged your thinking and kept you interested.
John was great!
He dealt with the drunks on and off the tour in a very respectful, tasteful way. I give 100% props and would recommend this tour to anyone that was coming.
Learned very interesting history of the city that only locals know.
Wish you had an option for a personal/smaller tour groups to get more one on one time.
Was a very fun tour - we learned a lot of vampire history and saw some evening views of the French Quarter we didn't know about. The tour was well organized, we knew where to meet, and our guide was very knowledgeable and fun - and in costume!
What a spooky tour! And I loved it! Lisa was our tour guide and she was excellent and fun. I loved her stories and the personal touch she would add. She was very knowledgeable and I appreciate her emphasis on "safety" during the tour. Be careful who you dance with! I would highly recommend using her. Even though there was a young child on the tour, she didn't hold back from telling the scary and graphic stories. Loved this tour!
