We had a terrific trip to the plantations with tours by Isabelle. Our driver Joseph was so knowledgeable.
Learn so much about Louisanan and New Orleans history. Very friendly and respectful. I was with
my mother who is 90 and he took great care of us. Please RECOMMEND THEM.
Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. The Planations are worth seeing. I loved the intimate nature of the tour and door to door service.
Loved this tour! Our tour guide Joseph was awesome! He told us a lot of interesting facts on our drive to and from the plantations. Our favourite stop was Oak Alley - what it would have been like to live there! It's absolutely gorgeous. Would have liked to have spent more time there for sure! Laura was also very interesting. We were a little disappointed that our small group didn't actually extend to the tours of the plantation itself. That's kind of what we were thinking but it was really just a small group for the bus ride. Still, it was an absolutely amazing tour and I would book it again in a heartbeat! I really appreciated being driven out there and not only seeing some great scenery, but hearing a bunch of interesting things about what we were seeing. Thank you so much for the great experience!
Joseph was a great guide, full of fun stories and had a story about everything. Plantations were great, shocking history. Renee was excellent in Laura,Oak guide was excellent too.
Excellent tour, even on a rainy day it was well organised and catered for and we were able to do all activities. Highly recommend
Our driver wasn't the friendliest, however he was very informative and the plantations were great.
This is the 2nd time I've done this tour and I don't regret either!! LOVE the small group format...
Loved the guides at the 2 plantations - very entertaining and knowledgeable. Our driver was very good also and had a ton of history to share. The tour ended up being a couple hours longer than planned due to heavy traffic. Van not very comfortable
I can't laud this tour enough!
We had a group of 6 wth the wonderful Niji as our driver/guide. She was so informative, very well-versed in the history and culture.
Laura Plantation was our first stop and Rose, the guide there, was a treat. It is a fascinating place with quite the story, which Rose told so well.
Oak Alley is a stunner and drew quite the crowd. Chelsea was our guide there and she was also great .
Do not miss this tour!
Fabulous - very informative about the history of the people and the places!
We had a great time on our tour of Oak Alley and Laura Plantation. Our tour guide, Guy was very knowledgeable and personable.
Really informative tour guide/driver.
Laura plantation tour was exceptional.
Oak Valley was beautiful.
Worth every penny!
Excellent tour! We were picked up at our hotel, and entertained with good narrative all the way out and back about 50 miles to the plantations along the Mississippi. The tours themselves of the Laura Creole Plantation and the Oak Alley Plantation were fascinating. It was a long day 6 hours, but so interesting all the way through. We felt very well-treated by the tour staff and the staff at the plantations. I have some walking issues, but I made it through the tours just fine. They are well-paced.
The tour was great, the drop off and pick up from our hotel made it very convenient. Our guide Giselle was wonderful and so knowledgable. She went out of her way to make it the best tour possible. Highly recommend this tour
A fabulous day. The drive through the swamp area was a great surprise and the small mini bus was in great comfort. The two plantations were opposite styles and class which gave an excellent view of life then in the 1800's. Each plantation gave their own guided tours which broke up the day with interest.
Gisele did an amazing job as our guide. Managed to provide us with information all along our tour and making it current to today's time. Both plantations were amazing with different stories. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Gisele
This tour was terrific and I would highly recommend it. The only downside was that a couple who was on our tour, was flying out early that evening and therefore, we were forced to end the tour early which did not allow enough time to really visit the Oak Alley Plantation after the guided tour. I found that to be unfair to the rest of us who planned accordingly.
