Very nice wait staff made us feel extra special although the boat was packed with people. Food was excellent and it was a 'do-again' tour.
This was awesome! The food was great and the ride on the Mississippi was a really neat experience!
We all loved this tour. Great food, Great music, Great service. Very informative. A great deal. I would and will recommend this to all who visit NOLA. Thanks Viator.
This is a must see. The food was terrific and the river boat narration was very informative. Loved the jazz band. Can't wait to come back to the Big Easy and do the dinner cruise!!!
Very nice tour. Great commentary about the history of the area as we went up and down the river. Food was very good. The Dixieland band was great as well. Overall a nice way to spend a couple of hours. My kids enjoyed too (ages 8 and 12), so it's definitely appropriate for kids.
Food was good. Trip down river was fun. Tour guide shared some interesting facts. It wasn't the romantic river of olden days I had hoped for. Lots of fuel barges and other large ships, no rafts. But this is how the river is now, and it was interesting to see it as our first tourist attraction of our trip.
Very fun. Good food and friendly staff. Definitely a must do for a trip to N.O.
The cruise was interesting, but the meal was bad! I really enjoyed seeing the steam engine.
Good weather. Nice boat, love the calliope. The narrator was hard to hear outside so we did not get much of the info about the Mississippi as I would have liked. The food was decent, and our waitress was wonderful. All in all a good trip and worth doing.
The ride was a experience but the server that was serving the food was really rude I'm sorry but my money was spent but better service could have been given
The food was not really that good. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy. The table we got (which was "reserved") was right by the band...they didn't play nonstop, thank heavens. If you luckily got a table by the window it would have been much more to see...I did add another person to our reservation, don't know why that would have made us get a crappy table, but who knows. My husband took my daughter to the engine room, he said that was pretty kool.
The cruise was just as advertised but not for us personally. A trip through the industrial docklands of New Orleans, despite the very enthusiastic and knowledgable commentary, wasn't what we had in mind. Better spending the money on a good lunch overlooking the harbour.
