We had a great night on the Natchez. Don't remember saying it was our anniversary we were celebrating on our holiday. However we were given a fantastic memorable night by Leigh and the Captain and other staff. I would love to come back and do it all over again. The buffet was lovely especially the beef and plenty of it as well. I can't recommend this trip enough. I think you must do this trip if you are in New Orleans . Top notch!

We were met at the dock by a charming young lady who escorted us to the dining room and our reserved table. SHe ordered us complentary champagne cocktails and brought us a gift bag with momentos to remember this occasion. The ships officer took us in tow after dinner and gave us an interesting tour of the engine room and the wheel.
We left the ship feeling that this was the best part of a very rainy vacation.

If you want to be treated like a rock star…..purchase the VIP dinner cruise! We were greeted by our personal guide (waiting for us…holding a sign with our name). From there we were escorted to the top of the steamboat, front table, to enjoy the jazz band that was playing. 2 minutes later we were handed a champagne cocktail. About 20 minutes later, our guide escorted us to greet the captain, who took us on a private tour of the engine room and the history of the boat. We then sat outside watching the sun start to set, when our guide found us and took us to the dining room. We were greeted with glasses of wine, appetizers and two gift bags (who knew!). Before anyone was granted access to the dining room, we were through the buffet line and seated for dinner. Our guide gave us tips on when to go outside to take photos of the city lights, and checked on us to ensure we were comfortable. The gift bags were so cool! Each contained a 2-cd set of the jazz band (who also had a PBS special), two engraved champagne glasses, two can wraps, and a few other little goodies, plus two photos of us as we entered onto the steamboat. And that’s not all! When we docked, we were led to the front of the group so we could be first off the boat. Staff was so darn courteous! Totally worth it.

It was wonderful! We were treated like celebrities, the food was amazing...much better than my expectations of a buffet, the music was fun, and the scenery gorgeous. We highly recommend Natchez, but especially the VIP tour.

Very interesting, especially the tour of the engine room. We were treated like VIPs which made a lot of difference as the boat was quite full.

Viator is the only place to book this as a VIP tour. We were met on the pier and quickly escorted onboard. We were the only two VIP guests for this dinner/cruise. As VIP guests we were given an extensive tour of the Natchez. Dinner has two sittings 6:00 pm and 7:15 pm. But due to the weather conditions possibility of rain we were given a reserved table inside for the entire three hour cruise. Additional we received two embarkation photos, a champagne cocktail, an extensive gift bag, an open bar for the entire 3 hours, and a bottle of wine with dinner.

I highly recommend this tour. It was very enjoyable.

This trip was AMAZING! My husband and I took the dinner cruise and were greeted by Yvonne who has been around the boat since she was a little kid and has a great working relationship with all of the crew and they all treat each other like family. She took us around and answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the boat and everything that went on and was with us every step of the way. Food was fantastic and the Dukes of Dixieland a 6 piece jazz band that I could listen to all night long. This is a do not miss trip it is so great! I would go back on in a heartbeat! Thanks again for a great tour and dinner cruise!

Wonderful tour! Special thanks to Jordan, Captain Steve, DeShawn, and Emma. Their warm reception, attentiveness, and hospitality was greatly appreciated. It was our son's favorite tour, he was given the "first mate" treatment. Great end to our NOLA vacation. (Only suggestion would be a child's price for youngsters under 12. The captain's escorted tour of the steamboat is a great learning experience for kids.)

This was one of the highlights to our New Orleans Trip. The experience was worth every cent! We had our personal rep Named Ms. Leigh she was wonderful and took excellent care of us every minute from the time she escorted us from the dock to take our professional picture in front of the boat then to our private table on deck and served us our drinks and shrimp cocktail before the ship left. We then had another private table inside and a wonderful waitress called wiesha who took wonderful care of us and we wanted for nothing! If booking just a note do the first seating at 6pm for dinner. Food was so so, buffet all you can eat. Then the captian came down and did a wonderful private tour of the whole ship, Thank you Captian Robby for such fun and a wonderful tour and a chance to meet the crew! We then went to the upper deck where they had a jazz band playing all night that you could dance to. The views where incredible of the city this is a trip you should not miss. at the end of the night they gave us a bag of goodies with our professional picture, 2 etched wine glasses with a picture of the ship, a cd of the music that was playing and a bunch of other goodies. You feel like a VIP all the way on this trip...splurg you will love it worth every cent....add unlimited drink too well worth it for the extra $20.

This tour was wonderful! We upgraded to the open bar selection and it was turned out to be so much more than we thought. Personalized service! We were escorted on board by the captain, we had two lovely ladies serve us throughout the cruise as well as a guided tour of the boat by the captain.

This was a great way to end our evening. We were greeted by a VIP Host who allowed us to skip the line and got us seated right away. The VIP experience is definitely the way to go, we were given our welcome drink which was a glass of Champagne and were also provided with a special appetizer prepared by the chef. The meal is buffet style and the servers were lovely, they were very sweet and warm and definitely full of Southern hospitality. After our meal, we met the Captain for our private engine room tour and then we finished our evening by sitting outside and listening to great Jazz.
