We highly recommend this tour. These plantations take us back more than a century showing us the granduer, the hardship, tragedy of their way of life. The homes and the grounds were fascinating. The reality of slavery left us with a lasting impression of their human sacrifice.

Tour was marvelous, mostly because of the knowledge, both historical and cultural, of our wonderful guide Ginnie. Highly recommend her to anyone for any tour. The Laura plantation was more fascinating historically than Oak Alley, Even bought the book.

This tour was well worth the money. It was well organized from the minute we were picked up from our hotel. Our guides where very knowledgable and entertaining at the same time. The contrast of the two plantation we visited was a nice overview of life in two seperate but overlapping eras. We really enjoyed our day looking into the past. Thank you so much.

There was plenty of time to take pictures of the entire house as well as of the oak-lined walkway. I didn't feel rushed and even had time to look through the gift-shop.

Excellent tour. Muriel the driver was hilarious. Rose who did the Laura plantation tour told the stories beautifully with an almost apologetic air for how the South and the slaves were treated. Oak Alley is stunning and i just wish i been there when the trees were in full bloom. Well worth it.

This is a wonderful, informative and fun tour. Learned so much about the history of New Orleans. Our friends who have been to the Plantations on their own loved the informative tour bus ride as well. Highly recommend this to everyone who comes to New Orleans. Would definitely use Tours by Isabella again.

This tour should not be missed while travelling to New Orleans. Two completely different plantations, Laura Plantation and Oaks Ally. The guide at the Laura Plantation was excellent and took us all back in time. One of the best things we did in New Orleans. Don't miss out, buy the book about Laura Plantation, it is also very good.

I would never have thought to visit plantations but the timing of the tour made it work with our schedule. The history of the Creoles was so interesting and our tour guide gave us a lot of background on the area. Loved Laura's plantation and seeing slave quarters was moving.
