We stopped at this place on the Lower East Side of Manhattan before heading into Brooklyn. My favorite was the potato knish.

We passed by but did not stop in this store. I just really like the old sign.

The neighborhood known as DUMBO means Down Underneath the Manhattan Bridge Overpass which is exactly were we were standing when we took this photo.
The DUMBO Waterfront
An ancient set of rail lines still snakes through this area down near the East River. It really felt as if we had traveled to another place and time. The views looking back at the city were breathtaking.
An ethnic eatery in Sunset Park Brooklyn's Latin District
Wow is all I can say! We had never seen this many Latino Restaurants anywhere outside of South America. The food was fabulous and the local folks were so friendly in this part of Brooklyn. Who knew?
