If you're ever going to try a helicopter ride, it may as well be over something exciting. A very professionally run operation, not nearly as scary as I thought it would be!

This is an expensive 12 minutes but totally worth it if you want to see NYC from the sky. The pilot gave us good photo opportunities and I saw Liberty Island and Lower Manhattan as I'd never seen them before. Staff are nice and wait time was about 45 minutes once we got to the heliport.

The flight was fabulous. The long wait, one and a half hours, in the rather gritty and very packed reception was not great.

The only thing that took the edge off the experience was the hanging around with no one explaining what was happening. Apart from that, it was a great experience and one I would recommend.

We had a brilliant time in New York. Viator is an excellent site to book all your sight seeing. The helicopter ride was good. We turned up and showed our vouchers without queuing, which couldn't have been easier.

Great way to see the city, check the weather 1st though! We got lucky, half an hour later it was gloomy. Lose some weight if you need to before flying to get a good seat!

New York was fantastic. Helicopter flight was the highlight of the holiday for all four of us; we would definitely do it again. FANTASTIC!

Very good, but I was disappointed that I was asked for additional money just before the flight, which makes the price on the website a bit misleading. I know it mentions that there will be an extra amount, but why not give the real cost right from the beginning?

After reading reviews here about long and frustrating waiting lines, we booked the first trip available at 09.15 on a beautiful morning. The staff was neither overly friendly nor rude. The pilot's comments during the flight were not particularly informative but the experience as such was breathtaking! Definitely worth the money.

I did this tour only three days after a one and a half hour helicopter tour over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon in Nevada, so you can imagine that it is nearly impossible to find it as positive an experience as the former one! Putting all biases aside though, please be aware that the ride takes about 15-20 minutes from lift off to touch down and for obvious safety reasons ONLY takes place over water. Also, it does not circle the island but only goes up and down the Hudson river. I am generally a very positive person but I cannot avoid mentioning the REALLY, REALLY long wait in the company's really hot and humid lounge. People were coming in and out all the time, and it was obvious that the air conditioning could not really cope with that big space and all those people going in and out. Comparing it with the amount of time you have to wait, you can imagine that 15 minutes is not long enough to compensate for the waiting time. However, if you really want to get a good idea of the geography of the place, especially if it is a clear day, and want to see all major landmarks in Manhattan and the surrounding area, you should probably go on this tour.
