The trip was excellent. The guide was very good. I would definitely use Viator again when next in the U.S.A.

The tour guide was well informed. The locations we were taken to were great. Loved Boston!!! However, we did not get back to New York until after 11p.m. It was an extremely long day.

We had a delay in the start up of the trip, because the guide did not appear and have to be replaced by a spare one. Rest of the trip was ok.

The bus driver was late and uncooperative, and the trip took too long. The bus was unfit for the long journey.

We did not see much of Boston. The guides also had to translate for two other non-English groups.

The sights of Boston were fantastic. We wish it wasn't such a long drive, as we would have loved to have spent longer. The day would have been a lot better if we had a capable driver. This was very disappointing and very dangerous. The driver fell asleep while driving us to Boston. Prior to this, she was driving all over the road, not staying in her lane. The poor tour guide had to take over and drive, as well as explain where we were going, and what we were going to see. The driver sat in the back seat and slept for the rest of the trip. She was very unfriendly. We were not impressed with being put in an unsafe situation. The tour guide was very lovely, and we felt very sorry for her. The other tourists on the tour were also unimpressed, and we all considered getting the train back from Boston, rather than getting back in the bus. We would have taken the train if the driver had said she was driving us home, but fortunately the tour guide drove us back.

This was the most uncomfortable, roughest ride I have ever been on. The tour guide knew less then one of the passengers. He didn't know the significance of Trinity Church even though he talked about it a lot. We were treated like children when we asked where the bathrooms were. He told us about the college he was accepted to but didn't attend. That's all well and good, but it's not why we spent money to see Boston. He said there was a red line marking the Freedom Trail, but we couldn't see it from the bus. We couldn't see anything he pointed out from the bus.
