Useful Information
Craft Beer Sail
Set sail with a wine expert who will introduce you to a different variety of wines picked from some of America’s oldest and best-known cellars. Casual, fun and informative, this experience will expand your palate as you taste great wines paired with snacks and cheese.
Boat: The Wine-Tasting sail takes place on the Shearwater. A beautiful sailboat built in 1929 from native hardwoods, the Shearwater is New York City’s only floating designated landmark.
Craft Beer Sail
Be introduced to the wonderful world of craft beer! With more than 1,500 brewers now making delicious brews all over the country, choosing and appreciating craft beer has become an art form that rivals wine tasting. Sample several outstanding ales and lagers paired with cheese and charcuterie while you drink in the magnificent views of the NYC skyline.
Jazz Sail
The hustle and bustle of the city are replaced with the sweet, cool rhythms of bebop, blues, ballads and other jazz music as you sail smoothly out into the summer night with the NYC skyline lit up behind you. Enjoy music by acclaimed jazz guitarist, Joe Cohn, joined by accomplished saxophonist, Avram Fefer, and other guest musicians. (Drinks are not included on this tour.)
Boat: The Craft Beer Sail and the Jazz Sail take place on the Clipper City, a replica of the lumber-hauling schooners that drove America’s industry more than a century ago.
