My family and I visited NYC in March. The tour of the Empire State Building through Viator was excellent. We purchased tickets in advance, and also got the "skip the line passes". To be honest, perhaps it was the time of year or day, but we really didn't need them becuase the lines were quite short- but we did probably save about 10 to 15 minutes with the passes. We also got the Ipod to listen to. If your note familiar with NYC, the guide did give a nice overview of where things were and a bit of history of NYC. Amazing views and really glad we went.

We visited The Empire State Building at 09.00am so missed the long queues. However there were a few people in the queue and we did get though quicker. Good value priced tickets.

I took my husband to New York City for his 50th birthday, he had never been there before. We saw Phantom of the Opera, the 911 memorial and went to the empire state observatory. It was like he was a 12 year old again, he was awe-struck. Take someone whose never been...it was a wonderful!

Great tour. The views at night are amazing! I would recommend upgrading the observation deck tickets, to the 102cd floor!

Highly worth recommending the flexy ticket. The day i had booked this for we had snow and showers, so visibility was not great. It was very reassuring to know that we could use the purchased ticket any time during our stay. We did not book skip the lines, and i have to say i am glad we did not pay the extra, as when we went- 11am- there were no queues whatsoever! The site from here is one in a million, even though it is strange not to see the Twin Towers if you have done this before. We purchased further tickets once on the observation deck to go to floor 102. These were $17 per person. The price of the tickets bought through Viator are well worth it, and i would use this site agian.

Quick and easy to pick up tickets. Tip: go in the evening, it is quiet and New York is beautiful lit up.

Good value for money. The queue was extremely long and we went up and down extremely fast with this option. It couldn't have been better in that windy and cold day.

We visited on new years day around lunchtime and had a great time. Skip the line tickets were well worth it as it didn't take any time at all to get to the top. We took some great pictures and found the audio very informative. Although we bought the picture of us taken with the superinposed background (at $20 which seemed the going rate) we were delighted when we were offered to have our photo taken (with our camera) next to a life size king kong at no cost at all!

The fast pass option is a MUST as the queues seem to go on FOREVER! With fast pass you can just breeze through it... We went up the Empire State Building at night and the rockerfella centre in the day - would highly recommend going up at night. Amazing views.
