lovely trip and a great tourguide who shared lot's of interesting facts.
The tour coordinator was very friendly and knowledgeable in the area. His presentation of story was very interesting.
Very, very nice. Good guide and some amazing and different views from the "usual" New York.
TOUR GUIDE KNEW SO MANY FACTS ABOUT THE NY STATE, IT RAINED, HOWEVER ,IT WAS STILL GREAT.
Excellent trip, with the added bonus of excellent weather.
it was good. but it needs more forest , trees and walking. and less driving.
Enjoyed the trip but was a bit disappointed that most of the leaves had fallen so we saw quite a lot of bare trees. Had rather hoped that we would spend more time on Bear Mountain off the main road but most of the trip was on the Parkway. We had a excellent guide who really made the trip worthwhile for us.
The bus provider did a good job in the end but I was less than satisfied with Viator. Viator accepted my reservation and took the payment and then later sent an sms to say the tour was not available and to call to reschedule. When I called the number they had no idea of my reservation and it took several calls to reschedule. The rescheduled time was not convenient but as I'd paid for the tour, I needed to take it. Viator should give the correct information in the first place. I will go directly to the bus provider in future and not through Viator.
Too long a drive and time in Boston consequently limited. A video on the bus showing Boston and its historic trail would have helped. Guide's explanations were very brief and bus micro not working!! Quickly expedited trip but understandable given the distance.
Nice Route. But was not able to enjoy the trip, we zipped thru at 75mph and did not get much opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful foliage. Not sure why we stopped at West Point and Fruit Orchard when it's a fall foliage tour
