an excellent way of seeing the park without getting lost! joel, the tour guide, had good knowledge of the park and its history. lasted about 2hrs. walk is at a fairly fast pace!
Joel, our tour guide, did a great job with us. A tour guide can make or break any tour and he helped to make it. For a walking tour, we saw about as much as could be seen of this massive park. But it didn't feel rushed or hurried. You don't have to be a speed walker to do this tour, but need to realize you're not at a snail's pace either. For a first time Central Park tourer, my family of four gives a big thumbs up!
If you've never been to Central Park, this is a nice short 2-hour walk around the park from the Southeast corner, up and around, and ending at the Southwest corner. The tour guide pointed out and educated us on the history and little hidden gems around the park. Very lovely. Nice way to start our first day in the city.
This was a great tour, Joel had lots of stories to share with us about the history of the park. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a lot of the park in a couple of hours.
We had a lovely walk around the main sights of Central Park- lots of details and info about the history of the park and about current events in and around the park.
The tour was amazing. The guide was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. Great small group of people on walking tour.
Our tour guide Jole was extremely knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions we had.
A wonderful tour. Our guide was so informative and interesting!
Our guide Deborah was excellent. We covered more of Central Park than I was expecting, and it was such a fabulous tour with great insights into so many of the highlights of Central Park.

I visit New York City annually, yet I had never actually walked enough in Central Park to actually get a feel of it. The tour is two hours of walking with a very knid, knowlegeable guide. He took me through some beautiful areas surrounded by green trees and waterfalls. For a park that size, I found it helpful to be taken to areas that I could have easily missed myself.
The tour guide , Stan, was very NYC knowledgeable and also a movie buff ! My husband and son thought the tour was great! It was 2 hours and we really were only able to visit the lower third of the park. I did not realize it was so large!! The temp was about 90 that day. It was hot and it would have been better if it was 10 degrees cooler for me and I love to walk!! But that aside, it was a great walking tour!! Char E
A great tour! I really enjoyed it. The tour guide was friendly and very informative!
We found this tour to be very interesting and our guide had a lot of information to share. He spoke very rapidly to fit it all into the tour, but at times he was a little tot fast and difficult to understand .
The guide was very good and we really enjoyed the tour. I think without it we would have wandered around not knowing where we were or what we were looking at. I would recommend this to anyone going. The pick up/start point is a little hard to find as it is just a sign on a wall next to a garage door (where they keep bikes). Most enjoyable and we went back on our own.
There was only 4 of us on this tour so we saw a bit more than bigger groups would of, I had a great time walking around.
It was a warm, humid morning but what a way to see the gem of New York. It was a quick walk so not for the slow, but it was great.
I'm giving this tour 4 stars because I'm sure it was fabulous. We didn't make it. We were so exhausted from the tour the day before we just couldn't get out of bed. They even called to make sure we weren't coming but I slept through the call. Great tour company!
The tour was good. The guide knew a lot of interesting facts about the Park and surrounding buildings. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to walk and learn about the Park.
Very informative, tour guide made it more interesting with his knowledge :-)
