Was good, although pilot didn't say much even though he was supposed to point out things, and we flew round the edge of Manhattan rather than over it as some other helicopter trips seemed to. It was a fantastic experience though and I would thoroughly recommend a helicopter trip whilst in NY.

The flight was wonderful, and the staff and pilot were friendly. Waiting for our flight was frustrating.

Not a huge fan of heights, but the views were amazing. Though we booked 15-17 minutes, the journey was about 10 minutes, but well worth it!

Great experience. Gave great views of New York. Really smooth flight, felt safe the whole time!

The actual helicopter trip was great, but the customer service was awful. The manager was rude and unaccommodating. We had to wait 3 hours for our trip, which ruined our day. However, the rest of the staff were really nice. As I haven't seen any bad reviews on your website, I presume this one won't be going up.

If you are sat at the front with the pilot or on the left hand side of the helicopter then it is a great experience - the front is brilliant. But if you are sat on the right hand side behind the pilot then it's rubbish. Most of the tourist attractions are on the left hand side of the helicopter, so if you are on the right you can't see properly because other people are blocking the window!

Unfortunately my wife celebrating her birthday and I both got seated on the right-hand side of the helicopter behind the pilot. This meant that we did not get a good view at all of the Statue of Liberty, Manhattan skyline etc. and could not attempt to take any photos through someone else's head. We did get a good view of Columbia University and the apartments of New Jersey - not interesting at all. Spoilt it entirely and not worth the money. Sit on the left if you have the choice!

The actual helicopter ride was fine. But neither my friend nor I have ever experienced such RUDENESS of the staff there. Mainly one person. I know this opinion was shared by many customers as we openly discussed it. Everyone said they'd recommend the company next door to their friends. Also, our trip was postposed on two occasions, costing us over money in cab fares. Not impressed...sorry!

The flight itself was awesome, good to see New York from a different perspective. However, when I tried to contact the tour operator to confirm our flight time--I tried 3 times--I had to leave a message, and no one called me back, so we had to go down to the venue early to see if they had in fact got us checked in. If I did the flight again, I would use another company.

Depends where your sitting in the helicopter, if your on the New Jersey side, you don't get to see much of Manhattan which defeats the object.

Viator was great but the service provider was awful. We followed directions exactly, calling in advance to schedule a time only to show up early and find out that they'd put us down for a much earlier flight and to be told we missed it! Then they said to come back in 2 hours, so we did even though it threw off our plans for the rest of the day. We still had to wait a long time while listening to the staff talk and gossip about personal things. Then our flight didn't even go out to Yankee Stadium, which was the very reason we chose this flight. A helicopter tour was a fun and exciting way to see NYC, but avoid this tour.

I was a little disappointed having spent a great deal of money on this experience. It would have been helpful to know if you do sit on the right hand side of the helicopter you will have a restricted view and really only see sites of New Jersey. I am very small, so felt I was not getting value for the money I spent as I could not see most of the major sites without having to strain my neck.

Sadly, it wasn't good. Having flown with the other companies there, I can only advise to choose a different company to this one. They were unprofessional, the pre-safety chat was a joke and although I have to admit the pilot was good, he did not give us a tour as such. He just flew the circuit and didn't mention what anything was. A rather expensive flight! I mentioned this when I got back to one of the girls working there and was told the pilot had been told off for this on a number of occasions. She then wanted to sell me a photo and I mentioned that perhaps they should think about giving me one as a bit of compensation. The next thing the manageress or whatever her position is came running in telling me that the pilot did what he was supposed to do. I informed her that I had been sold a tour not a simple flight and told that on a number of occasions I had flown with the other companies who had given a proper tour. She then slagged off the other companies stating they never took off time etc. We took off an hour late so I was rather surprised at that comment. She then told me it was due to weather conditions, which was completely different to what the girl had told me. I informed her that weather and traffic levels were fine to which she asked me how I would know. I informed that I had been both a fixed wing and rotary pilot for years. I gave up in the end, she is a compulsive liar running albeit with a safe pilot but is not providing what they advertise!
