Best thing I ever did. I was very scared about flying, but the helicopter flight is very different, very smooth and not scary at all. Lot of fun, the best way to discover NY. It was long enough to see everything we wanted to. Really, don't miss it. The people are lovely, and that's nothing better than that.

We took the tour on a Sunday. We had to wait a bit for the flight but it didn't take long until we could get on the helicopter. The tour took about 15 minutes and it was amazing. The weather was fortunately on our side, so we had a good view from above. The pilot pointed out and explained what we could see on the way. I absolutely recommend the tour to everyone! Don't miss it! We bought a photo they took of us in front of the helicopter before taking off, since it was one of the best photos ever taken of the two of us.

Fantastic experience, I highly recommend it. I had a fantastic view of the city, better than the view from the Empire State Building. The pilot was a great guide as well. When you get your confirmation, it says call up 24 hours before the flight to confirm your place. Call further in advance, weeks ahead if possible, as I was given a set time which wasn't ideal. If you call early enough, you can pick a time that suits you. Also, don't expect to record any sound if you bring a camcorder, all I got was the sound of the helicopter whirring, although I think most sensible people would expect this anyway. If you get the seat I got in the middle at the back, you'll be in the worst seat possible. It's cramped, and it's the only seat that's not right next to a window. Regardless of those points, it was still an amazing sight to behold and I can't advocate for it enough. The tour operators say they are at the heliport at 30th St, when actually they are on 12th Ave between 30th and 33rd. This didn't really cause many problems as when walking down 30th I could see the helicopters.

Even though we had bad weather and a little rain up in the sky it was an unforgettable experience. I had the best seat beside the friendly pilot. We did not have to wait long for the flight, and all the people around the place were just great. I will do it again the next time I am in New York.

Just the best. You may have to wait a bit, especially if the weather hasn't been so good, but the wait is worth it. Go 'over the top' as it is just breathtaking. I hate heights but loved this. Our pilot was top class and very informative. It made our honeymoon special. Do it!

It was definitely amazing, the flight passed over and around the Empire State Building, over Central Park, near the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and so many other famous places!
