New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) houses "the greatest collection of modern art in the world" (The New York Times) in a sublime building designed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi. Visitors can also experience a full schedule of special exhibitions, daily film screenings and gallery talks, and a range of educational programs suitable for all ages. Weather permitting, The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden offers a unique urban oasis.

Collection Galleries:
MoMA's collection encompasses traditional mediums plus film and industrial design. With a 150,000-piece collection to draw from, the Museum breaks it down into six curatorial departments - Architecture and Design, Drawings, Painting and Sculpture, Photography, Prints and Illustrated Books, and Film and Media. Many of the Museum's best-loved works, including Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night and Pablo Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, are on view. A random-access audio program about the collection is free with admission. Listen to commentary by dozens of curators, artists, and critics as they share their unique perspective on select works.
