The tour turned out to be 12 people in a mini van with driver and tour guide. This meant we could jump off to see sites and take photos where coaches can't stop. Our driver, Damon, was awesome and our tour guide was funny and informative. It was a full day and was worth it. Don't forget to tip!
This was the best tour for the money that we have ever experienced. The group was small and we had the opportunity to get on and off the bus for intimate details of New York City. The tour also included lunch In Little Italy and a 90 minute cruise of the city. Our tour guide David was extremely knowledgeable and even had the bus go out of its way to show us the UN building. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see New York from both land and water.
Never dreamed we would see so much of Manhattan in one day. All the highlights were covered, and some walking expeditions off the bus were educational and fun. Lunch in Little Italy, delicious, the Harbor Tour well done with complete narration and a good view of the Statue of Liberty. So much history and information from our tour guide, Dave. This gent is a rare gem in the business, and I hope he is your guide. Plan to see a lot, and enjoy what you learn about NYC on this tour. Comfortable bus and excellent driver as well...Hi Reynaldo!
Our driver and Tour guide were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable on their stuff, efficient and very friendly to us.
We enjoyed this trip a great deal. The weather was picture perfect! We went all over Manhattan. Stopping at some wonderful places. We had a most delicious lunch in Little Italy and a fantastic Boat Tour, where we saw all the beautiful bridges, a great view of The Statue of Liberty and a spectacular view of NYC Skyline. It was breathtaking!! Plus, it was so delightful with Reggie as our bus driver and Serge as our tour guide. They were both so friendly and true gentlemen. Reggie knew his way around town flawlessly. We felt very safe and in good hands. Serge was so knowledgeable and quite humorous!! Made our trip so memorable!! Thank you!
Take this tour if you want to get a good feel for Manhattan. Hope you have a chance to have Serge as your guide and Reggie as your driver. Both did an outstanding job! Our party needed a bit of extra attention and we were well accommodated. There is a wealth of history on the island and you the mile wide version. Serge is always ready and willing to take a deep dive on any particular item. Reggie was great at bulling his way through New York traffic. Do the tour and then follow up with excursions to specific items of interest.
The guide is excellent. He told us a lot of history about new york city, and a lot of entertainment news!
Very good tour. We had both been to NYC a couple of times before, so wanted we to do something different from the Hop on/hop off and this was definitely it! We saw parts of NY we hadn't seen before and the river cruise was really lovely.
Dave and Ricky made it a fun as well informative day. Great value. My husband is blind and they knew how to handle every situation we encountered.
Wonderful and informative...Serge, our guide, was interesting and helpful every step of the way. Reggie, our driver, was cheerful and very skillful in maneuvering in the traffic. We had a great experience. Many thanks.
This trip is outstandingly good value for money! It takes in all the major sights in New York including lunch in Little Italy and a trip on the Hudson to the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. We took the 8 hour option and were very pleased with our choice. Our tour guide, Serge and our driver, Reggie, were extremely friendly and knowledgable. Would highly recommend this tour.
We attended the 8.5 hr tour with Serge. In one word. Fantastic!!!
He was informative, thorough and interactive. We were travelling with our 2 kids and grandparents who all really enjoyed this tour. Possibly the best tour of our 6 week holiday!!
Serge, the tour guide and Ronaldo, the bus driver were AMAZING!!!!!! I can't believe all of the facts that Serge knows about NYC. Ronaldo was an excellent driver, and made our trip very enjoyable. When we went to the ferry part, the guide on the ferry talked WAY to MUCH and WAY to LOUD. He should take lessons from Serge.
Good fun even though it was grid locked because of the rain, well done
The best idea for first timers to newyork, try and do it on your first day, 6 hour tour will give you a great orientation, and it's great value, enjoy.
Frankie our tour guide absolutely made the tour! he was informative, pleasant and a really happy chappy! We loved the tour so much that Frankie made us want to move to Boston! kudos to you for having the insight to hire him!
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, particularly if your time in NYC is limited. Without this tour we wouldn't have seen a fraction of the things we did, not to mention learn about the city. Our guide and driver were friendly, informative and funny. Most of the tour is by coach though there is some walking around involved so you don't feel cooped up all day. The highlights for me were the cruise on the Hudson and The Top of the Rock. If you are considering taking this tour, do the full day...it's worth it!
Richie was a wealth of information about places, restaurants, famous people homes, history. He would burst out in song pertaining to what we were seeing-he was very entertaining. The 4 hour trip was a perfect length. We went to areas that we would not have covered in our own explorations. Highly recommend this tour with Richie.
Brilliant introduction to New York. We had Serge and Reggie (a duo very deserving of all the positive reviews I've seen here). Definitely recommend, especially if this is your first time in the city.
The combined bus and water tour was excellent. New York City is huge, but the itinerary gave us a good overview of the city and it's major sites. David, our Guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the city, it's history, culture, ethnic neighborhoods, where celebrities live, and even architectural details. The lunch in Little Italy was delightful - a good break in a long day.
