This tour is a great way to see many things and hear a commentary. You can breeze by what doesn't interest you and stop where you are interested. You cover much distance without having to determine the destinations or do the driving or cabbing or subway. You can also combine hop on hop off with getting to other destinations unrelated to the trip. We had an excellent tour guide on the Brooklyn tour. Great way for adults to see the sights while kids rest their weary feet.

This tour was brilliant. We went on all the tours except the uptown one, we ran out of time! We didn't get to the shopping mall or on the harbour tour, again due to time. The information on the tours was brilliant. They cover most of the city. The price was very good. Can't fault it. I would recommend your company to anyone.

Top of the Rock excellent, especially at dusk when you start to get the best view of New York lights. The night ride is the best part of the tour I think the 4 day ticket was a waste of money though especially in cold or rainy weather. Shopping excursion was also good value.

Good value, great information on the tours. The only downside was that we visited during a heat wave and once you are on the hop on bus they can't let you hop off until the next stop, which depending on traffic can be half an hour or more. Plan ahead. Take a hat and a bottle of water. Outlet shopping was great, not many people, and a good variety of shops with bargains. Harbour cruise was excellent!

There were plenty of ticket sellers on the routes. The Madam Tussauds fellows where we presented our online receipt weren't friendly. The many flimsy proof of purchase receipts we received were problematic and confusing to manage for 4 days. These tickets do not clearly show what you have purchased. A simple, heavier ticket-like receipt would be easier to manage and would hold up better. Several tour guides were wonderful, and several were very rude. One fellow wasn't knowledgeable but was very insistent about getting his tip. It rained all 4 days, but each bus was prepared with ponchos for us to wear and sit on. Some microphones did not work well and we could not hear. The worst part of the bus tour involved a large area of the route being inaccessible because of a Puerto Rico parade. Three major museums were impossible to get to except for walking. In this part of the route, the bus driver missed the temporary stop and caused me and my 75 year old mother to walk at least 12 blocks to get back to the Guggenheim. We gave up the bus tour and just took cabs after that for the rest of the day. Next trip I will for sure try a different tour company for comparison.

Top of the Rock brilliant but Hop on Hop off not as good as I have had in the past. We were not overly impressed with Woodbury Common, personally I would have rather have stayed and shopped in New York as it was mostly clothing and shoes.

The hop on, hop off tour was good, but some guides are much better and more interesting than others. I did not enjoy the night tour because the driver would not stop long enough to get decent pictures. He's an incher. When the traffic light is red, he'd stop, then inch forward, then stop and inch, nonstop - pardon the pun. That is not conducive to good nighttime shots. I also could not hear the guide on that bus. I didn't get a chance to do the Top of the Rock, the Brooklyn tour, or the river cruise. I was not impressed with Woodbury Common. Even the outlet prices were beyond my financial means in almost all the shops.
