We had a 2 day ticket which was great ,the best way to get an over view of NY. The cruise also was fantastic as you got very close to the statue of Liberty, highly recommended
This is the best value for the money. You can see everything in the great city, stop where you like, as long as you like and continue at your own pace. For example, we stopped for lunch at Chinatown before continuing with our tour. If it's cold you can sit downstairs, stay warm, and still see everything (but not QUITE as well). The narrations were great--whether by person or by tape--and we experienced both. We walked to the harbor cruise first--the 'avenue' blocks and longer than the 'street' blocks, but even for us seniors, it wasn't too far from Times Square and we had a great surprise on the return: free bus back to Times Square! Thank you. After a leisurely dinner, we took the evening tour which gives a different perspective of the buildings and maybe too much of Brooklyn, but still VERY impressive. The second day we did the entire city, literally. It was just amazing. We didn't do very many stops, but not because they weren't available. Needless to say, my husband and I LOVED this tour and really got our money's worth. Thanks for having such great guides and drivers. We tipped accordingly.
a nice way to go around the city and just hop off if you want to see a specific attraction. the wait time for buses were not that bad and this was in the spring time. i would imagine the wait time to be worse in the summer. i suggest to come as early as possible to be able to do all the loops. the tour guides were really helpful,nice and informative. not all of them are as informative as the others but most of them were. when it rained, they provided rain ponchos for everyone. earphones were also available so you could hear the tour guides. it may not be faster than the subway but sure is a better way to see new york! trust me, when you're a tourist in new york, you'd rather be above than underground!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with the NYC Hop on Hop off tour! Our kids had a great time, were entertained and the bus came often so we rarely had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes. We would definitely use Viator the next time we travel to a new city to help us book our tours! Thanks for all the help.
We had a great time! We got to see so much more of Manhattan by using the Hop On Hop Off Bus than we would've on our own. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.
We had a great time on the hop on-hop off bus. It gave us a really good overview of the city, the guides were fun and informative and we felt we really got our monies worth, especially considering the night tour and the harbour cruise included in the price.
We took a 14 day cruise after our city tour and told a lot of people about our experience. Most people were amazed at the price especially when they thought about the price they were paying for similar tours sold by the cruise ship.
Our hearty endorsement for a job well done.

I have done this tour before but it was very convenient to buy it ahead of time. We avoided all those reps on the street trying to sell us the package. Went to Madame Tusseau. Exchange the voucher for the tickets and voila!. Perfect way to see a lot of the city very quickly. Will do it again.

We were with four adults and had never visited New York before so we wanted to see as much as possible during our 4 day trip.
Our Hop-on Hop-off gave us a beautiful tour trough entire Manhattan (and a bit beyond) with, in general, very good and skilful tourguides. Especially a guy who named himself "Josh the tourguide" was very entertaining and made us laugh.
We saw a lot of things from our wishlist that we wanted to see.
We also did the evening tour which was beautiful to see and was very relaxing.
Unfortunately, a guy who had quiet a lot to drink was also on the tour and he was very annoying.
The boat trip we did was great. And not only for the beautiful weather.
We highly recommend this tour and cruise.
You see a lot of the Big Apple for a very reasonable price and we will this do this trip again if we visit New York in a few years time hopefully.
The best way of seeing all the main attractions Manhattan has to offer! We did the lower side one day and the upper side the next. The guides were great and very knowledgable!
