It's the best way to see new york.
Very nice guides in the busses, the lady in the gray line office was also very nice and she gave as a discount to visit the empire state building.
Next time, when we visit new york, we will take a gray line bus.
Great deal, got 3 days for price of 2 and a round the statue of liberty boat trip museum tickets and entry to9/11museum. Staff were great. A really good deal.
Very interesting downtown and uptown tour, interactive guides, not so much at night. It can also get cold on the top floor in the evening.
handy way to explore the city and get a feel for those attractions that you may want to go back to. used the bus as a means to get to where we wanted and then walked back just so we could explore more of the neighbourhoods we had passed through. Guides were very good, knowledgeable and friendly. Picked up many tips and ideas we hadnt thought of which we followed through on, making our visit to New York even more memorable.
Allen was absolutely amazing-he upped the trip from 4 stars to 5 just with his knowledge and personality!
Excellent, well worth the money, 2 days, incl, night time tour and boat, which does Staten Island, fantastic, recommended
Used these buses for 3 days, really great way to see New York and tour guides gave lots of information. Did the uptown, downtown, Brooklyn and night tours. Really good introduction to New York.

Always do these bus tours in new places. Gets you to the spots you need and great views from the top deck. Just bundle up in cooler weather!
It was fantastic! We had a blast and saw so much! Would definitely recommend doing this.
So need to do a bus tour, you get your bearings of Manhattan, uptown and downtown then we used the ferry ticket as well well worth buying 2day pass, we used it to get round town on our 2nd day. X
Every first timer should do this! Tours and guides were great. Tour company has plenty of buses, no long wait at stops. Combine with City Pass.
Planet Hollywood ticket sales is handy, but they dont open until after 9AM.
Have done this before, it is great to get around the city but takes a long time if your in a hurry

IT WAS WONDERFUL AS ALL HOP ON BUSES IN EVERY CITY HAVE BEEN. iT WAS RAINING BOTH DAYS SO WE DID NOT SPEND MUCH TIME ON TOP. THE DRIVER AND OTHER STAFF WERE VERY KNOWEGEABLE AND FRIENDLY AND HELPED US A GREAT DEAL!!! VIATOR TOURS ARE ALWAYS GREAT.
The Hop-on Hop-off Tour was very good. Every guide we had on our different rides was knowledgeable and personable. The office was a different story. I the tour through the Viator app and showed the bus tour office staff the online vouchers. Even with the voucher number they said they needed a paper copy, and I was a tourist without access to a PC/printer. So I had to pay to use their PC to retrieve the online voucher and print it to present it them. Annoying, disappointing, and time wasting. I hope the bus tour office can modernize to use the online vouchers. But the tour itself was very good, worthwhile.
We were headed to New York from Missouri when the storm hit. We had to turn around and go home. We would surely appreciate it if you could give us a credit for our tickets until we come in the Spring. Thanks
Even though it was cool, windy and sprinkling we really enjoyed it. Very informative and interesting. We also booked Viator tours to Top Of the Rock, Statue of Liberty, World Trade Center and enjoyed them all.
The best way to see NYC! The tour guides are entertaining and well informed. Keep your finger on your camera as there are LOTS to take in and it all happens very fast. If you are not from the USA then be warned that tips are expected every time you get off the bus, which becomes quite a bit of money if you get on and off quite regularly. The stops are conveniently located and covers most if not all of the attractions in Manhattan. Definitely the best way to see the city and learn more about it.
If I come to New York in the future I will purchase it again. I was able to travel a large part of New York. The only problem was the air condition inside did not work. But most of the time my husband and I sit on top and enjoyed the outcome with the exception of watching your head for trees limps.
Great way to see the city and all the hot spots without driving in the crazy traffic. and learning the history of the sites was an extra plus.
We learned so much traveling thru New York and were able to see neighborhoods we wouldn't have passed through normally. The history was amazing! We had some great tour guides along the way!
