This is the best way to get around when you are new to New York City. The tours take you to all the major attractions and you will also see some interesting things you didn't know of.

All, apart from 1 tour bus guide, were absolutely fab at talking us through New York. I loved all the anecdotal chitchat. They were very friendly and helpful.

Really worth doing - essentially actually to get your bearings, did up, down and night tours. All brilliant especially the tour guides who were very experienced NY people, the night tour guide was so funny he had us all in stitches!

The bus tour is a great way to see the city, get a feel for what I'd like to do, then take advantage of the bus tour to do all of my shopping and sightseeing. It was a safe and comfortable way to get accustomed to the city before I ventured out on my own with the guidance of the tour guides.

This is an excellent way to see the city, especially for first-time visitors. The guides were very fun and very helpful. The evening lights tour was a particular highlight. Overall, this made for an excellent two days.

We took 3 of the loop tours and it was great. Having the opportunity to hop on hop off gave us the flexibility to see and do what we wanted to. They say the buses run about every 15 minutes, but we NEVER had to wait on one to arrive, usually there were several there at the same time. It was definitely a great way to see all of the areas of the city without taking cab rides to "places unknown". The Night Loop was great and the views fantastic! We'll buy this one again the next time we're in NYC.
