Our guide on the Uptown Loop was SOOOOO good! It was our first day in NYC and an excellent introduction to the megalopolis. It also give you confidence to return to places on your own steam. We also went on the City lights tour, which was a good way to get over to Brooklyn quickly, but it was not a hop on/off tour so you are in it for the long haul. The Downtown Loop tour was not as good as previous tours because we had to change buses and lost valuable time.

Really Great . . .A Must Do for anyone who wants an economical way to see all the main sights in New York. I did prefer my second "leg" when tour guy spoke on his microphone out loud . . with the first guy . . we needed to wear headphones to hear him . . . Otherwise . it was Great!! Will definitely do this again on my next trip!

We bought the 3 day, unlimited tour. It's hard to see everything you want to in 3 days but it was money well spent, especially since it included 3 admissions. Great way to see NYC and get around your first time. Check the routes, plan what you want to see so you don't repeat the same route again if possible (if you do the 2 or 3 day) or you will spend a lot of time on the bus as it takes the same route over and over. Weekends are very busy and it's hard to get a seat up top sometimes which is necessary for the photographer like me. But overall, a very easy and fun experience.

We were able to cover so much geography during the short time we were in NYC by doing this tour. We used it as a sort of taxi (which would not work if you were pressed for time) to get to sights we planned to see. Please note - the quality of the learning experience is GREATLY impacted by the quality of your tour guide. If you get someone who just points out buildings and has little else of substance to offer, get off that bus and wait for the next. We did the same loop twice (as a means of getting across the island) and were really glad we did as the second guide was exponentially better than our first. Also, they work for tips...so be sure to have some small bills when you get on the first bus - nobody mentioned this and we were scrambling to come up with a little something as we exited.

Excellent tour buses and guides and a great way to get around the city to the attractions and tourist spots. A great way to orientate yourself with the city.
