Great to see the sights in New York.

Very good experience. Really only have a couple of complaints 1. during heavily travelled times several competitors buses would pass by before our bus would show up and then the roof top would be full, and 2. some drivers were definitely better entertainers than others. Overall a good snap shot of New York, although 2 days is not enough to take it all in unfortunately.

This tour is excellent value for money. I did the downtown loop twice. It was really very good, only thing is sometimes it was difficult to hear the commentary but this did not really hinder my enjoyment of the tour. I had two different guides and both were very good and knowledgeable.

Getting on the bus early is crucial! The downtown loop was terrific, but the uptown was OK. In the afternoon, only inside seats were left, which ruins the tour. The guides were good, and the buses were in good shape. If you've never been to NYC, you'll learn a lot.

Our chief problem was getting space on the buses in the amount of time we had to devote to this activity. It was very difficult to find space on the buses unless you got on at the beginning.

Would definitely encourage anyone who has never been to New York City to take this tour. This is the best way to go and see it all and yet have as much time as you like to tour what ever interest you.

Excellent way to get to know the city. We booked for two days and did the all loops tour. It's actually a good form of transport for the whole week if you can afford it. Cheaper than taxis, although the hop on hop off facility isn't available at night. Subways are even cheaper once you get to know the place, but do the tour first.

The hop off was fine, but the hop on was not. We waited at the East Village stop for the bus and it was full when it stopped. We were told to wait another 10 minutes for another bus. That was full too. We pressured the driver into letting us stand up tho there were already many standers.

I had a great time on the bus tour. It was nice because you can get off at any of the stops you choose and see what you want to see and then just "hop on" the next bus! I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see New York City on their terms!

Viator advertises a 48 hour hop-on hop-off NYC bus tour for the downtown loop. This is false. If you buy all loops, the tickets are valid for 48 hours. When we arrived at the tour operator in NYC to redeem our downtown loop tickets, we were informed that they were only good for 24 hours from the hour of redemption. We had to spend an additional $40.00 to ride the buses for two days. Besides that, the on-off tour was a great way to see NYC in a short amount of time.

This is a great way to see the highlights of New York City. Do this your first day. It will give you an idea where everything is located and what you want to see.

We were waiting at one stop in the rain, and the bus just drove by and did not stop, even though we were waving to it. Very upsetting after waiting over 30 minutes. Had to wait on next bus, and then we had to squeeze on it, and some people were told they could not get on. Very upsetting. Five blue buses drove by before we saw the first red bus, and then several more blue buses before the next red bus. The company needs more buses.

Some of the tour guides were hard to understand. One had the microphone too close to his mouth, and the other one had an accent. We weren't happy about not being able to hear about New York City as we took the tour. The rest of the experience was interesting.

We really enjoyed the hop on, hop off tour, but some of the guides had very heavy foreign accents, so it was hard to understand what they were saying sometimes. One bus driver stopped short twice and caused me to get hurt by sliding off the seat and cutting my knee on the seat ahead of us.

It was all as promised, but it took longer than we planned between stops. We only hopped off once and stayed on for the balance of the tour.
