We have been on other NYC tours, so we have a point of comparison. First, the sound system on the bus was not clear. We had difficulty hearing, especially in the back. Second, while our guide was knowledgeable, the presentation was too corny. Finally, the lunch was mediocre at best. Cold french fries, need more be said? We will take another tour company next time.

Tour guide talked about stuff way in the distance and when we finally got to see it up close he was talking about something else in the distance. The bus barely started so I'm not so sure about the 'luxury' motorcoach line. The highlight was lunch at Ground Zero. We also didn't get to stop at Central Park to walk around.

It was worth the money, although there are a few "details" that can be improved. Lunch was cold and not much to choose from. The bus A/C wasn't working. The tour states that it includes a one-hour tour of the United Nations, and we drove by the UN building but were never given the tour.
On another note, you get to see and learn very interesting information and a whole lot of history about Manhattan and the Big Apple itself. The one-hour harbor cruise was fantastic and you see "Lady Liberty" in all her "majesty," which is awesome. You go to Winter Garden where you have the opportunity to see "Ground Zero," and at the end of the tour you receive tickets to Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, which is an added bonus.
Worth doing if you're in the city on a short trip. Otherwise, I'd best recommend a hop on hop off tour where you get the opportunity to take better pictures and see more places, but I'm not sure if you learn as much history as on this tour. The tour guide was VERY knowledgeable about the facts he was giving us and was very friendly and funny.
This started off well, and the boat trip around Hudson Bay is excellent, as was the end stop at Rockefeller Centre. Guide spoke about himself constantly, and a lot of this had nothing to do with New York. Lunch was lukewarm, and the french fries were awful. By afternoon, we were covering ground covered already in the morning - it would have been better to do a shorter tour with better stops. The low was getting off the bus--the guide became very aggressive regarding tips. He wanted at least 15 percent of trip value and shouted at those whom he felt had shortchanged him. Very disappointing end to a mixed day.

I prefer to stop and see things, not just have them pointed to out the window. The best part was the tour of the UN. The lunch was disappointing.

The tour was quite good. Unfortunately, contrary to the suggestion of luxury, the views of the buildings being pointed out were restricted by the small windows. This tour needs large windows or a glass-topped coach. I really couldn't appreciate the buildings. The tour didn't stop at Ellis Island, which is a must! It would have been better if a visit to something like the top of the Rockefeller or Trump buildings had been included, as it wouldn't take long to do. I thought more of this would have been included to distinguish this tour from independent arrangements.

The day was definitely let down by the lunch. The cheeseburger tasted as if it was cooked at least 30 minutes before we arrived. Ran out of fries and drinks a few times and no staff to replenish stocks. Had to go and find tour guide to get help. Real disappointment.

It was OK, but you can do better.
