This was the best tour I've ever been on. Highly interactive and real old school superstars!
Fantastic tour. Nice to see New York outside the cliches. Would recommend extensively any Hip=hop as well as New York fans!
Absolutely tremendous tour. Great tour guide (Grandmaster Caz is a legend) who tells the history of hip hop with enthusiasm. Some great stop offs, including the Graffiti exhibition and breakdancing demo. A highly recommended tour suitable for all ages.
I was very pleased with the tour, the information and knowledge shared about the evolution of hip hop but Cas was the heartbeat. He was engaging and approachable and his love for hiphop and the city was on full display. He is a legend and a real treasure. Thank you Cas!
What a great tour with Hush Tours!
I have been involved with Hip-Hop since 1981 and have always been inspired during various times in my life by the entire Hip-Hop culture and was looking forward to checking this one out...
This is THE TOUR for the definitive narration on the roots and culture of Hip-Hop and eloquently delivered by the host Casanova Fly a.k.a. Grandmaster Caz. The pace and timing were spot on as were the off the bus moments.
Suitable for B-Boys/Girls, M.C's, D.J's, and Graffiti artists, Old School, New School, and Future School.
Don't sleep on this....

a fantastic tour - a little pricey, but worth it. The celebrity guide was none other than the hip hop legend, Grandmaster Caz, who was an engaging and hugely informative guide (and a very cool guy too). Tour took us to parts of NYC we wouldn't otherwise have seen, and my 3 daughters (aged 19,18 and 14) all loved it. Highly recommended.
This tour was OUTSTANDING. It was more than we expected. The tour brought a very interesting portion of American music life into focus and it was full of great music, great commentary and interesting sights. The Soul Food lunch stop at the end was outrageously great. My family and i could not have been happier with this selection. We would recommend it to everyone...young or old.
Absolutely brilliant tour! Whether you like Hip Hop or not its an excellent way to see parts of New York you might not necessarily want to venture to under your own steam and along the way you laugh and sing and have a marvellous time. Grandmaster Caz is charming and funny and Debra who runs the company is also lovely. Tours ends with chance to purchase yummy soul food that you buy by weight!. A great day out I thoroughly recommend!
The Hip Hop Tour was very informative. I've told all my acquaintances who are planning a trip to New York, they have to plan to take this tour. Enjoyed it!
Loved this tour it was great. Would do this tour again and would recommend anyone to do this
I got an education and a new respect for hip-hop. Grand Master Caz was the best!
I didn't really expect much from this trip and therefore I was pleasently surprised when it turned out to be one of the best things we did in NYC. The Hush staff were so great and the tour was funny, interesting and informative. Even if you are not into Hip Hop this tour is still awesome!
Was an AMAZING tour. Experienced, interactive and VERY friendly for people of ALL ages. I took my dad and he loved it.
Big Ups to the Hush Tours Crew for proving and providing such an experience. Will definitely do another tour next time in NYC.
Seba King Spanglish - Oz Locos
Wow! JDL, GM Caz - SUPERB. I would recommend everyone who likes music to go on this tour. These two guys are fantastic. I had no idea about Hip Hop only what my son had told me. On the Christmas holiday to NY my husband, son and I went on the Hip Hop tour. My son is really into H.H. and he loved it, but me and my husband were enthralled. GM Caz we all love you and JDL. You made this tour special, special and special. Thank You. (hope cheque is in the post ha ha).
A thoroughly brilliant tour. Tour guides were the `real deal` and imparted their deep love of hip hop to us and took us deeper into the culture than would have been possible without people who lived and breathed it their whole lives. A very special da indeed and Much fun had!
really enjoyed this fun tour, the guys do a really good job, very informative and funny.
my son and i came all the way from Japan to join the tour. we really enjoyed it and i think it's worth it being able to see thihgs that we can hardly see at any other place. thanks
Not being a HIP HOP fan I was dubious about the tour but went along because my partner and daughter really wanted to go.
JDL - what a star. Made HIP HOP come to life.
Would recommend this tour to any and every one
My wife and son didn't know much about Hip Hop but came along with me and we visited places we wouldn't of seen, and our guide was the best, he made us welcome we all had a laugh. Highly recommended!
Top draw. Caz is the man. Never thought that I would ever visit Sedgwick Avenue, where Cool Herc played his first party, getting a photo of me and Caz outside the Apollo!! Awesome - soul food was real good. Oh! take some spare cash and buy some CDs off Caz and crew. I got one of a live jam back in 1981 with Caz, Busy Bee and the likes. Went really quick, 3 hours well spent. Awesome - Caz makes the trip special.
