This was a brilliant tour. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about New York. The service was good but even though I was the only English person there, the guide did the tour in French and English which I thought was thoughtful to do. This is a must do FIRST tour to know the area.

I would have prefer only english not mix with the french but we enjoy it
Pretty good idea of the main neighborhoods in NYC. Got to get off a few times for a little bit but wish we could have stopped more. Overall a good tour to help you get an idea of the areas you want to return to.

Much more personal than the hop on hop type tours now in to every major city in the world. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, with a vast local knowledge, who actually lived in the area.

Efficient. Interesting commentary by someone who sounded enthusiastic.
I will never again take a tour where two languages are used. It was not the fault of the guide, but I feel I would have gotten more information if the tour was in english only.

Got to see a lot.
Unfortunately the trip did not live up to our expectations. Our guide was a lovely energetic lady, however, she missed many of the landmarks and we kept stopping for coffee/cigarette breaks! There was no commentary around Central Park and there did not appear to be any historic or interesting stories on our stop at the financial district, having already visited Ground zero the day before.
While the tour was nice - comfortable coach, interesting sights ect, we were rather annoyed that the tour is actually a foreign language tour! we were the only english speaker and while the tour guide was fantastic, he spent most of the time explaining everything in french and then gave us a very quick summary. really felt like we missed out and it was annoying that we paid for the privilege of a tour in french!
