Visit Philadelphia, the second largest city on the East Coast and only 100 miles from New York.
Depart New York City through New Jersey Pennsylvania, and on to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. Upon arrival in Philadelphia, you will embark on a panoramic tour that includes Chinatown, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elsert Alley (the oldest inhabited street in America) and more. Arriving in the Historic area of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, and Constitution square and Constitution Hall, one of the symbols of freedom in America.
Departing Philadelphia, your tour then stops at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and then continues to Lancaster county, home of the Amish people. After a break for lunch at the Amish marketplace you will enjoy a tour of an Amish farmhouse, by an Amish local guide, and learn how they live without the benefit of modern technology, no electricity, running water, telephone service or appliances. The tour of Amish farmhouse takes approximately 1 hour in the house. There is then free time to roam the farm itself, including the barns, sheds and gift shop.
In the late afternoon the tour departs east for an evening arrival in New York.
