We enjoyed this tour as the guide did a good job of taking the whole group from the mid-town area to the ferry. It was a little awkward once we got to the statue as the tour is suddenly over at that point - which was actually fine. We would recommend this tour to anyone who was never been to the statue before, like us.

The Tour was ok but was disappointed that we never got to go onto Ellis Island. We went to Ground Zero 9/11 Memorial instead. I do not think the weather helped on the day of my Tour it was pouring down with rain, so felt we never got to speak with Tour guide much as trying to keep dry.
But feel on a different day would be a good Tour.

For the most part it was ok. However, Viator being expert in Tours and Travel, you MUST caution your customers that Statue of Liberty is CLOSED prior to they purchase the tickets.

An enjoyable day even though the Statue of Liberty is not yet open again to the public. Not nmuch at Ellis Island unless your family has history there. The ferry ride is fun but did not enjoy the subway. Our guide Darryl did a good job. Margaret Australia

The tour started by meeting at a Coffee Shop.
We then went on a Subway train ride to the wharf to catch a ferry ride to Stature of Liberty. I didn't mind the train ride but assumed we were going to go by bus. The train ride was only 15 mins which was fine. We all traveled together and the Guide made sure we all arrived together. The guide was very good in explaining everything about the tour and was very knowledgeable. He also gave us tickets to ground Zero in which you need to enter and save us going to line up to get a ticket.

This tour was fairly average. The guide was very nice and helpful but did not give us much information. He took us to Liberty Island but then just let us wander around for half an hour and also left us on Ellis Island, after briefly talking to us, then we made our own way back.

The tour was marred by wet weather, but the guide tried his best to keep up our spirits. He was well informed and interesting about his subject, and we enjoyed the tour. We would recommend a similar tour to other Australians.

Overall the experience was okay. A large group of Guests were late so we waited 45 minutes for them which meant about 20 mins and the shortest commentary from the guide ever which spoiled things at Liberty island. The guide in Elllis island was less rushed and much better. Tony the guide was not my idea of someone who provides a great experience for the Guests, maybe this was tarnished by waiting too long for the missing party?

Great day out but with all the understandable security you do not really skip the line, nevertheless a nice day out,the statue of Liberty was closed so a bit disappointed about that and our guide stongly suggested at the start of the trip not to bother getting off to see the statue close up.My only concern is that we were left on Ellis Island to make our own way back to the meeting place on 5th Ave Not a problem if you are O.K with the subway but I personally found it a bit daunting and walked back to my hotel on 7th Ave..but still an informative day out.
