Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was amazing value for money, a great way to see the Park and surrounding points of interest. Bob, our tour guide was extremely friendly, informative and certainly went the extra mile, giving us tips on places to visit and eat during our trip. Would recommend without a doubt.
Tour was great! What made it great was the service from start to finish. Carlos took care of our party of four at the West 60th Street/Central Park West. He was great not just with us but with all his customers, old and young alike. Our tour guide, Eddie M, was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the landmarks, history, buildings in and around Central Park. He also made everyone feel comfortable and was very considerate of each of his customers, making sure that the pace was not too rigorous for anyone.
Will definitely be sending more friends and families to Bike and Roll! Excellent service!!
Our guide was Wendy, she was excellent. The best way to see and learn about Central Park. Wendy shared her extensive knowledge and chose great places to stop and take in the views with plenty of time for photography and exploration. If you dont know Central Park and you dont have a lot of time (and if youre only there for a few days you wont) dont waste it by wandering aimlessly take the tour - just do it.
Great time. Wonderful way to learn about the Park. Would do it again.
It started to rain shortly after the tour started and it was cool. But we still had a wonderful time riding around Central Park Our guide was informative and funny. Really enjoyed this and would recommend to anyone visiting NYC
Leader (Joel) was 15 minutes late for our tour. Was hard to hear. Talked and acted out parts of movies way too much. Wanted to hear more history/details about Central Park.
The bike trip around Central Park is worth doing. The bikes were in great condition and there was plenty of help getting everyone matched up with a bike. I would say that our guide was a bit rough around the edges. He didn't really seem all that interested in providing information about the park, although he was happy to talk about himself and his life.
All in all, I think I could have just rented a bike, got a map, and done this on my own.
Tour was good, however guide was nearly 30mins late and had a dirty uniform on and looked like he had just got out of bed, not a good first impression
The fellows doing the organization, administration, and setting up of the bikes should have been on the Looney Tunes. It was the classic business case of having two businesses, one renting and one tours, and they mixed the two and chaos resulted. We were there 15 minutes before "start" at 3.15 according to the tour description. That was 2.55 pm, and sometime around 2.35 we left...and then they had the gall to ask if we had something else planned that day. the tour guide was OK, but not much better than that. They have the idea that tips are something they get automatically instead of actually earning them. A LOT more effort is required here.
