What a great way to unwind after a hectic city mini tour. The water was calm, the sunset beautiful, tall ship was incredible, staff friendly, completely different view from the water. We had the most enjoyable evening. A definite must do
The cruise was fun. The crew was wonderful. My 4 year old even got to steer the ship! We got to see the best view of the city and the Statue of Liberty. I highly recommend this event.
A fantastic experience. So much better than the other boat tours. Relaxing, authentic and pleasant crew.
This was an amazing tour! The views of lower Manhattan at twilight are stunning and to see the Statue of Liberty with the sunset behind it? Made my trip! All I could think when I saw that and Ellis Island with the sunset behind it was what my great grandfather must have thought coming to this country. Seeing that looming in front of him. Wow. It's well worth the money. Everyone is so nice and polite. It's not a tour boat. The cruise was just people talking on the boat with one another so that was nice. It was quiet and peaceful. I'll do it again in a heartbeat!
What a fabulous early evening cruise round the bay we had the crew was young but very very able seaman.they were very capable and loved what they were doing
I wish if it is longer, got nearer to Brooklyn bridge .. Staff were friendly , thanks for amazing tour
The only thing it was cancelled twice for some reason but it was good in the end
We took the sunset cruise our first night in New York City---it was fantastic! Beautiful views of the city and the Statue of Liberty. The sunset was gorgeous and then as darkness set in to see the 2 beams of light from the twin towers was incredibly touching. The crew and captain were very capable as well as entertaining. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting New York.
This a wonderful, relaxing, and totally enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. The ship is a beautiful wooden sailing ship with lots of room to roam around. Great way to see Lady Liberty and the Skyline of the West Side and also Jersey City.
Really lovely experience. Relaxing in the hubbub of NYC. Good for all ages. Did the night sail which was different. X
I took the cruise on a a perfect fall day! It is a great, relaxing way to see the city. There is a full bar so you can grab a drink, enjoy the sun and see the Statue of Liberty up close. If you are looking for a casual, scenic cruise around the Hudson it's the perfect one!
We had perfect weather for our sailboat ride out to Lady Liberty. It was smooth sailing (which is good for me since I tend to get a little seasick...) and the crew was friendly and bar staff attentive. My group of 5 found a comfortable spot to admire the views and put our beers down and while the boat was full there was plenty of room to walk around. It was a nice relaxing day out on the water and we admired views of the skyline, Statue of Liberty, various bridges and other boats going by. Be sure to bring a camera! And take a moment to watch the crew hoist the mast - it's quite a feat!
We did this on my birthday, 5 days after we had been in New York so it was lovely to sit back and enjoy a relaxing cruise with a cocktail or two (well, it was my birthday!!). Excellent.
My family really enjoyed this tour. Our ages range from 5 to 78 and everyone raved about it!
Had a wonderful time, crew was great, ship was clean, a must do while in NYC!
