The only way to see the skyline of Manhattan, beautiful day, would love to do it all again.I weould suggest getting there early and check out Pier 17,brilliant!!
This was fantastic! Crew were very good, great views over New York and bar has an excellent choice of drinks!!
Great way to see New York on the water and the Statue of Liberty.
This was a very enjoyable trip at a reasonable price. We walked passed the huge queues of people trying to catch the normal ferry to the Statue of Liberty on a very hot day. We then boarded our ship straight away and set off on a wonderful trip. The crew were friendly, cocktails were great and the views fantastic. Would recommend this trip as being great value for money and very relaxing.
it was a nice cruise for some reason I was expecting someone to tell us about the different sites that we were seeing....I've been in NY for almost 8yrs and I had no clue what some of the things that we sailed by were...I'm sure I could've just asked one of the crew members. It was a pleasant sail although very chilly on the water...
A wonderful experience, Crew very capable and polite. Could not fault it
Fantastic! Cruising on a historic sailing ship out to the Statue of Liberty made for a very relaxing experience, helped no end by the nautical-themed cocktails! I would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting NYC.
We'll worth doing, more relaxed than the ferry boats and less crowded. Only fault was that my preferred sailing times were cancelled twice due them receiving private charters. We were given two complimentary drink vouchers
Loved it had a wonderful time and recommend it to everyone. One draw back we arrived just as it was leaving and did t realize there wasn't food on boat. We survived on snacks. Sandwiches would have been a plus.
Perfect and simple tour. Would of been nice or more places to sit.
A different way to view the City via a lovely sailing boat, so much better than waiting in line with the thousands to do the standard evening cruise on the Circle line boats.
It was good, but was somewhat let down because we were under engine power almost all of the way. It did provide a great view of the city.
Great evening with great views over Manhattan as the sun set, the Tall Ship is something a "little different"
New York is a very active and buzzing city, with crowds hurrying everywhere. The cruise was an opportunity to see another side of NY where ther beauty of a summer afternood could be appreciated
A unique and pleasant experience, although I am sure that it could be quite uncomfortable in poor weather. On board cocktails quite pricey
Since this is a tall ship, it requires a higher turning radius and therefore does not take you very close to the Statue of Liberty. Other fast/small boats do take you more closer to the SoL. The ship moves slowly, so you have more time to click photos, see the Statue.
Moreover, the crew was good and supportive. Worth taking the tour.
It was a wonderful experience!! Only had a little problem with checking in as I thought the e-mail would be enough proof of purchase but the clerk wanted a hard copy. Other than that, things were smooth sailing. lol.
The crew were excellent - a really pleasant trip out to the Statue of Liberty. Range of drinks available on board were good. Would have been nice had there been some background music on board - a lot of the other boats around seemed to have a slightly better atmosphere
It was a beautiful ship and the day was perfect. However I strongly recommend taking this sailing cruise in the morning, as the glare of the sun made it hard to see the Statue of Liberty very clearly. I would have liked if they had a speaker system of some kind to tell us a little bit about what we were seeing as we made our way to the statue. The lack of any audio or person telling us what we were seeing along our journey makes me give this trip 3 stars.
Beautiful ship, neat experience, but would be so much better with some type of guide. I wanted to know things like where did Sully land the plane, how has water traffic changed since 9/11 etc. There is no narrative tour at all. Zero. Great if you just want a ride out to Lady Liberty and back.
