This was a fantastic way to get a flavour of Harlem. The guide was everything you could wish for - courteous, amusing, educated in his subject matter. The church made us all feel very welcome and the experience was just as I expected. Lunch was a hot buffet at The Cotton Club with a huge selection of varied 'soul food', Cajun dishes, of which we just had to try a little of each!! The accompanying gospel singers created a wonderful ambiance, which, combined with the historic information gleaned from the tour guide and the sights of Harlem made the trip a wonderful experience to be recommended to all.

The experience in the church seemed very authentic. We really enjoyed it. Harlem has clearly come a long way in the past few years. We also got to meet a local artist. Don't forget to bring some money for the souvenirs and church collection basket.

Very well organised, good guide, nice tour, got a good impression of this part of Harlem, real spiritual singers. It was a pity that not everybody had a good sight of the choir.
