We booked online to save time and worry for when we got to New York, and it certainly paid off. We printed our Viator voucher, which we handed in, and it was all systems go. The ride was fantastic and one I'll never forget. I had never been in a helicopter before and knew that if I hadn't booked it online beforehand I would probably have chickened out!! It was certainly worth it, it was much better than I thought, and the staff were great.

It was the best experience ever. The customer care was excellent both before and throughout the flight. It was well worth every penny - thank you.

New York was fantastic. Helicopter flight was the highlight of the holiday for all four of us; we would definitely do it again. FANTASTIC!

After reading reviews here about long and frustrating waiting lines, we booked the first trip available at 09.15 on a beautiful morning. The staff was neither overly friendly nor rude. The pilot's comments during the flight were not particularly informative but the experience as such was breathtaking! Definitely worth the money.

I did this tour only three days after a one and a half hour helicopter tour over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon in Nevada, so you can imagine that it is nearly impossible to find it as positive an experience as the former one! Putting all biases aside though, please be aware that the ride takes about 15-20 minutes from lift off to touch down and for obvious safety reasons ONLY takes place over water. Also, it does not circle the island but only goes up and down the Hudson river. I am generally a very positive person but I cannot avoid mentioning the REALLY, REALLY long wait in the company's really hot and humid lounge. People were coming in and out all the time, and it was obvious that the air conditioning could not really cope with that big space and all those people going in and out. Comparing it with the amount of time you have to wait, you can imagine that 15 minutes is not long enough to compensate for the waiting time. However, if you really want to get a good idea of the geography of the place, especially if it is a clear day, and want to see all major landmarks in Manhattan and the surrounding area, you should probably go on this tour.

One of the highlights of the trip. Only slight complaint was that the pilot didn't give us much commentary on the sights as we were flying. But apart from this it was very good.

Was not too happy with the waiting around for the ride. They were running half an hour behind schedule. There were 6 in our party and I felt we were herded. It was a very tight squeeze in the helicopter. Once we were up in the air it was very difficult for the middle 2 passengers to see anything. The piolt was not very clear on his tour guiding and did not seem concerned whether you heard him or not.

It was very simple to book using Viator. You're required to contact the supplier direct upon arriving in New York. They were efficient and courteous and we obtained the time and date slot we wanted. We arrived at the departure point and again everybody associated was efficient and courteous. The blurb had indicated that up to seven people might be on the helicopter, but there were only four plus pilots. The weather on the day was perfect, so that made for a highly recommendable trip.
