We went to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building on Tuesday and Top of the Rock on Wednesday. I recommend Top of the Rock. A much nicer experience with beautiful views and much less hassle.

This was more relaxed than the Empire State Building. Plus, the staff was more entertaining, especially the lift attendants. We would certainly go back.

We did this on our first afternoon in New York, and it was amazing. If you do this in the day, make sure you go up the Empire State Building at night, or vice versa.

WOW! What a view, thrilling. Went at night; very few people there. Visited on the last night of our stay, and it was a very fitting end to out trip to New York.

Superb!! It was truly magical to see the city, Central Park and the Empire State Building from this vantage point. Quick and efficient; photographers not at all pushy!! A must-do for any visitor to the city.

We had a great time; it was so well organised, and the wait was a lot quicker than we anticipated. The view was spectacular, and as we went at night on our next visit we will do it in the day.
