Another wonderful tour. It was well organized which was highly appreciated by this weary traveler. New York is a very busy place, with lots to do and see, and this tour highly simplified the process. There was not one thing about this tour that i did not like. The guide was friendly, well informed and took care of us. I would recommend this tour with children because that amount of walking is minimal , but you get to see a lot of things. The Empire State building fills up fast , even though you get in before "opening time" , so if you want to take photos , do that first, then relax and enjoy your time up there. You are given ample time at each site and are not rushed at all.
Fantastic tour despite the weather. Tour guide absolutely fantastic, Heidi?. She was fun, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great tour to see heaps and front of line VIP experience well worth the money.
Heidi was an excellent Tour Guide. Someone with experience of New York City is essential to hear about the places within it.
This was such a marvellous experience + very good value for money. Our guide met us at pre arranged time of 7.15, and was such a friendly person, and very knowledgeable + informative. Our meeting point at The Empire State Building, was such an amazing start. The experience and the view was wonderful. Our trip on the open topped bus was also very good. The walk in downtown Manhattan, that included a stop in Wall Street - was an added bonus. The visit to the 9/11 Memorial, was unbelievable and very humbling. As this was where I guide left us, at 13.30 ( over 6 hours after meeting at 07.15 ) we did suggest that you should include a stop for a drink or breakfast snack, as the temperature was in late 80's + we were all so hungry + thirsty...
This tour was great! It starts off early but it's totally worth it to be one of the first up at the empire state building. I can't imagine standing in lines for that long. Our tour guide JP was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. When we hopped on the bus, we were able to have a quick tour of the city. We were able to wander around the 9/11 Memorial on our own. We never made on the water taxi to the Statue of Liberty but that's because we decided to walk the Brooklyn bridge instead. If you are in NYC for a short time, this is definitely the tour to take.
James or Jim as he likes to be called was a great tour director. It was a very full day and Jim never lost interest in his group. He was extremely versed in his history of New York and shared it with all of us. His sense of humor was outstanding. Good Job!!!!
The early bird gets the worm. Starting early prevented us from having to queue which was great. Tour guide Megan was lively and knowledgeable. One suggestion - we could have spent much more time at the air and space museum and less time trying to get through the New York traffic. Just go straight from Empire State Building - forget the city tour - and the audio did not work on the bus anyway. Altogether a lot of fun.
A good introduction to New York. The guide was knowledgeable, informative and friendly. An early start but worth it by missing the queues at the Empire State Building. A fascinating tour of the aircraft carrier Intrepid.
I was a bit nervous about going up but it turned out to be great. Felt very safe on the 86th floor and was extremely glad I went. It was 8am so a little misty but we returned for another visit at midnight the following day. Highly recommend this.
Very well run, tour guide Jim was knowledgeable and entertaining. Organised at the Empire State Building, skipping the line is a great way to see the landmark. Be wary though, this is very early in the morning, and it can (and for us was) a foggy morning. Visibility was not great, but can see all of Midtown. The bus tour was whistle-stop drive across town. Intrepid was a pleasant surprise. Boat goes to Battery Park and tour ends at a restaurant next to Ground Zero. It is fast paced and done by 1. Giving time to see the memorial, explore downtown and get the boat back. I recommend getting the boat from the South Street Sea Port for good viewing of the Statue of Liberty. Boat does not go to the island though. Recommend, get to see everything in less than a full day, well run and professional.
Very nice and informative, no waiting in lines so very dynamic
The tour was amazing. The view from the Empire State Building is incredible. After the Empire State we headed by bus around Manhattan to see the sights arriving at the warship Intrepid on which we could easily have spent the day. We then travelled by water taxi to the 9/11 Memorial. On a previous trip I had been at the top of the World Trade Centre so this experience was a very sombre one for me. This tour was a fantastic all round experience. We had the option with our tickets to spend the rest of the day hopping on an off the water taxi at our leisure. We also had the option to return and spend the day on the Intrepid. Our tour guide JP was the best ever. He made the trip an experience to remember.
We did the tour on our first day in New York. Would recommend this as it really does cover a lot of attractions and gives you a great orientation of New York. We liked the fact that we were given a time capsule at most attractions as we are not great group participants. Guide Patrick was really good and very helpful.
