The best way to get a taste of some of the great attractions New York has to offer. One if the biggest pluses we enjoyed was the fact that we didn't have to wait long to do anything. We were first in line to just about everything. Thanks for making our weekend trip that much more enjoyable.
Excellent guide and tour. Enjoyed the experience. It was our first trip to New York - this tour allowed us to see the "hot spots" and avoid long line ups! Thank you!
Most enjoyable and informative . Our guide (Megan) was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic ( and what a pair of legs)
The early bird gets the worm. Starting early prevented us from having to queue which was great. Tour guide Megan was lively and knowledgeable. One suggestion - we could have spent much more time at the air and space museum and less time trying to get through the New York traffic. Just go straight from Empire State Building - forget the city tour - and the audio did not work on the bus anyway. Altogether a lot of fun.
The tour was SO well organized, and really gave the overview that I was looking for. Thanks to our guide Heidi who was lots of fun, knowledgeable, and careful to keep track of all of her group, especially "Grandma" who was a little slower. I loved going to the front of the lineups. Great value, great use of time. As well, the web site was easy to use and Viator delivered just as they promised.
A good introduction to New York. The guide was knowledgeable, informative and friendly. An early start but worth it by missing the queues at the Empire State Building. A fascinating tour of the aircraft carrier Intrepid.
For me this trip to New York City was something I had wanted to do FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The tour starting at the Empire State Building at 7.30am was excellent with sufficient time to see all we wanted to and lots of information/facts from our excellent Tour Guide. Then onto the aircraft carrier Intrepid and the decommissioned nuclear submarine Growler - both excellent (and unexpected we didn't realise they were included so a bonus). The film show on Intrepid not to be missed. The 9/11 Memorial was very moving - we visited on 12th Sept - and emotional. Finally to the Statue of Liberty - sad to say we could not get off the boat (didn't realise that either) but it did not spoil what was a very full day but terrific. Great value for money.
I am an older lady and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The only complaint I have is that there is so much rapped up in this package that by the end of the day I could barely move or walk. This however had nothing to do with the package or the trip. I should have had a wheel chair or some other way of helping me get around better. There was an awful lot of walking but bottom line is I had such a great time that all the pain does not even compare. It was my first trip to NY and I was absolutely amazed and had the most fantastic time of my life. I would highly recommend it to all of my friends.
I was a bit nervous about going up but it turned out to be great. Felt very safe on the 86th floor and was extremely glad I went. It was 8am so a little misty but we returned for another visit at midnight the following day. Highly recommend this.
This was a very good overview of the main tourist attractions in the city. The arrangements were well timed to allow us to see all of the sights without having to wait in line ups. Our guide was very well versed in the attractions, made good recommendations to the group on the more interesting aspects of the tour and provided alternative arrangements to meet the individual needs of participants. For someone who has not been to NYC before this is an excellent orientation to the city in a low stress environment. Highly recommended.
Very well run, tour guide Jim was knowledgeable and entertaining. Organised at the Empire State Building, skipping the line is a great way to see the landmark. Be wary though, this is very early in the morning, and it can (and for us was) a foggy morning. Visibility was not great, but can see all of Midtown. The bus tour was whistle-stop drive across town. Intrepid was a pleasant surprise. Boat goes to Battery Park and tour ends at a restaurant next to Ground Zero. It is fast paced and done by 1. Giving time to see the memorial, explore downtown and get the boat back. I recommend getting the boat from the South Street Sea Port for good viewing of the Statue of Liberty. Boat does not go to the island though. Recommend, get to see everything in less than a full day, well run and professional.
The tour was incredible. What a great way to see some of the major attractions of New York in such a short amount of time. We really enjoyed the entire tour and our guide JP was very knowledgable and entertaining. We have friends visiting New York soon and have highly recommended taking this tour!
