If you have only a limited time, this tour is excellent. It is very well timed, and there are sufficient food and toilet breaks. The meeting point at the start is a bit arbitrary and could do with some signs!

A busy and tiring day but worth every minute. We are so glad we did this trip. Washington is well worth a visit. Buildings are impressive, and saying you've stood in front of the White House is a cool thing. The day was scheduled with a packed itinerary, which we weren't expecting. The guide was helpful and very informative, and we saw so much more than we were expecting. The only negative is we wish it had lasted longer, as the day flies by. I really recommend this trip, and it was one of our highlights of our visit to New York.

The trip itself was an excellent experience, which I would highly recommend. Our tour guide was great, he gave us loads of information about the surroundings. Also got to see a lot of the monuments and sights, such as the White House, Capitol building and Abraham Lincoln Memorial. One thing that annoyed me was that we had to be there quite early 7am but our coach didn't leave until 8am as we had to wait for the next coach to turn up first so we didn't get back until really late at night. Our guide himself told us to complain about this, as it was the tour company that wouldn't let us leave. Putting that aside, I still had a great time and found out lots about the city and country that I didnt know before. If anyone hasn't been there before it really is a beautiful city and I highly recommend going if you have a day to spare.

Washington was lovely and completely different from New York. We had a good guide and spent about 5 hours seeing the sights of Washington. It was a long day with the coach leaving at 7.00am and not getting back until 10.00pm. There was only one driver who must have been really tired, and it's questionable whether anyone should drive for so long in one day.

Absolutely fantastic. We both loved this trip, and it was definitely the highlight of our holiday to New York. We definitely will be returning to Washington some time soon. Our guide was brilliant and was very helpful. Thank you.

Morning tea stop was great for food. The lunch stop was at the aerospace museum, which only has McDonalds. This was really disappointing, not to mention disgusting - so take food from the morning tea highway stop with you or fill up there.

This was the highlight of our trip. Washington is well worth a visit, and the drive from New York flies by. Our tour guide was very informative with a great sense of humour, meaning we had a laugh the whole way round. Thank you, Viator, for a great day out.

Lovely day, my only complaint was my timing - right after the inauguration the photos where ruined by the leftover seating & stages from the inauguration festivities! But our guides and drivers were lovely - got us home on time in a snowstorm!!

This was a fantastic day out and I fully recommend it to anyone who wants to see the best of Washington but has limited time. The bus left on time and the journey was surprisingly quick, with plenty of stops on the way and the way back. The tour guide was very good, his English wasn't perfect but he was very knowledgeable. The bus was a small 15 seater, but was perfect temperature, and it nice having a small tour group. The attraction themselves were brilliant, and we had plenty of time at each. In an ideal world I'd have liked more time at the memorials, but I knew we would be limited on time and it was important to get round everything. I much preferred the guided tour to going by train myself as it was nice to have a guide take us to all of the main attractions and show us where everything was - it was much more time effective than wandering around with a map getting lost at double the cost. Similarly, there isn't much more to Washington than the tourist attractions, so it wouldn't be worth the time and cost of staying there for a couple of days to see everything - the day trip was definitely the best option. I had a fantastic time and would recommend this trip to anyone!! Thanks Viator!
