This was a 13hr day with a 4 1/2 bus trip each way, but worth it if you are short of time and want to experience Washington. A pity that this tour cannot stop at Arlington Cemetary. We had a great guide that made our bus trip entertaining at times!
4hrs each way on a coach but well worth the benefits. Thoroughly interesting day, the only downside being the lack of time at each location. Weather was atrocious when we did this but 2 drivers were great and the guide was very informative and accomodating.
It was a great day out and the long coach ride seemed to go so quickly as there was a lot to look at on the way. We saw all of the main sights in Washington and enjoyed our time in Madame Tussauds and a souvenir shop. We were initially worried that the trip might be very long and tiring but it was not at all! A great day out of the busy New York City

Terrific day trip. Guide (Eddy) was very knowledgeable and pointed out all points of interest. A lot was packed into the day and we were taken to the main sites in DC. Although an early start, it was worth it to see the capital in all its splendour. Would highly recommend this tour.
You must accept the limitations of this tour - it is a long way from NYC to Washington so there is only about 4 hours in Washington which means you only get a short time at each location.
We had time outside the White house and Capital Building. Madam Tusauds was surprisingly interesting and we got a flavour of the place. If you want more you will have to stay in Washington! The distance is such that 2 drivers are required and they were excellent. The guide was first class. there were commentaries in English, Italian and German but it was dealt with inn an unintrusive manner.

Tour was great and we had an excellent tour guide. He worked the bus well with different languages and gave informative information. Went to some cool places and really covered the whole of DC

What a fantastic day out, only wish we could of stayed a little longer. Definitly worth the 4 hour bus ride. So if you have a spare day do this trip.
i loved it. We visit Licolin memorial, The White House, Madame Tussauds, The Smisthsonian and the capital Hall. Washington was so beautiful and the tour guide was great.
Trip was amazing with very good organisation and nice guide. I will recomended it.
We were visiting NYC from Australia and had only one day free to see Washington highlights. This bus trip satisfied those requirements fully. The staff were friendly and helpful. As long as you don't expect to see too much of Washington and understand that most of the time will be spent travelling from and back to NYC - then you should be happy with the trip.
