I have to rate this tour 10 out of 10 and whilst it was a very long day, it was well planned with some nice comfortable breaks and a very informative guide. The transportation was excellent and very comfortable and we left right on time and arrived back to base pretty well on schedule. The tour was wonderful and the Nationals capital held so many points of interest and history. For a day trip we could not be more happy. The only comment I shall make is the start location, some people got confused with tour operator and Greyhound and those people were directed to the main bus station and only just arrived for the 7am start. Please thank all concerned. Angela and Stephanie

We were on a mixed coach of German and English speaking tourists for our day trip to Washington. We had a great day although four hour drive there and four hours drive back may be a bit much for some people. We actually had a great time. Washington was superb we got to see all what we expected as described in the tour. The Capitol was partially covered in Scaffolding but it was a magnificent sight walking right up close, the White house was a bit underwhelming and small, Madame Tussaud's was interesting but the Lincoln memorial the reflection lake and Vietnam war memorial were magnificent. The Smithsonian air and space museum was brilliant. We had a fun day. The tour guides were wonderful and filled us in on historical and up to date facts. The two bus drivers were magnificent drivers and we felt quite safe in their hands. The bus stopped every two hours so it was quite manageable and the coach was comfortable. We thought it highly amusing as the film on the way back to New York was the Enigma code. I would definitely recommend this tour as it was a most enjoyable day trip. An added bonus was the wonderful cherry blossom Peak.
Our tour guide was Joseph, he was very professional and extremely well organized, we were able to visit all these main places in Washington on time, weather was awesome we were very lucky, bus was comfy tour was awesome. Highly recommended if you and #39;re visiting New York
Since we're in New York, figured we should do a quick day trip to Washington. It was well organised and while there were three languages going on to cater to the different tourists, it didn't feel like there was any lag. The guide was clear and enthusiastic and we learnt lots about NY City, as well as the other cities en route to Washington. It was also very well managed in terms of time.
Highly recommended. From NY, We went to DC after blizzard, lots of snow in the areas but still very exciting and unforgettable. the tour guide shares a lot of information during the tour and really helps a lot. Keep it up!
long ride on the bus but worth the trip, excellent tour guides and bus driver very informative worth the money,

Lovely day trip to DC, it covered all the highlights. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, the bus was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour.
The weather was not so good that day, it was raining the entire day but it was just an amazing tour I would say. The tour was great with a very good driver and a very knowledgeable tour guide. We covered all those listed in the itinerary with just enough time to take pictures of every famous monuments and landmarks. Overall, it was an excellent and wonderful tour. I would definitely recommend to everyone who want to see and explore Washington DC in a day.
Great tour for a day trip. You get to see all the famous landmarks with enough time to spend at each one. Highly recommended if you only have a day to spare to visit.
This is a must to see all the monuments ... Abe in the large chair etc etc
A very good long day trip and highly recommended...Bruno is a legend...
Albeit our tour starting early......Had to be at meeting point at 6.30 am for bus leaving at 7.00 am, would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Our guide Jutta, was a hive of knowledge of USA, in particular, dates, famous names and places.
She was superb, speaking English and German.
Our day, unfortunately had some rain, but that didn't dampen our tour.
Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, made even more poignant by being the day before Veterans Day. We saw some Veterans laying wreaths in memory of those lost.
Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, White House, Madame Tussauds, where my daughter enjoyed dressing up in different outfits and ending with the Smithsonian Institute, Space Travel.
Well worth visiting. Great guide. An asset to the company.
Perfect! It was great that Arlington Cemetery was added to the program.
We really enjoyed the trip to Washington... Guide was great! We visited the Whitehouse and then got photos taken with ex presidents in Madam Tussauds which was great... the Monuments were beautiful and the trip to the Air Space museum was very good.... Washington is full of museums and would be worth spending several days there but we were glad to see what we did in one day.... worth doing
Excellent trip with great tour leader and very good drivers and coach. Highly recommended.
Best ever. We saw so much, guide went out of his way to make it an enjoyable and the drivers were fantastic. well worth every dollar we paid thank you for a great trip
Excellent tour. The tour guide was very friendly and the tour included all the major attractions of Washington DC. I would recommend this tour.

We joined this one-day Washington DC trip as we had only got six days in NYC but would still like to visit the US Capital, partly to add something educational for the kids in this summer trip and partly to achieve the goal in our travel book. Time control and tour plan of this trip is excellent. We started at 7am, boarding the bus near Times Square. As our hotel was nearby and there's a long coach trip to rest, an early start of the day is just fine. The staff were very helpful to lead us to the coach. The tour guide lady is a very professional and knowledgeable one, telling us the right amount of history and politics in the US whilst giving us a pleasant introduction of the places along the trip. There were reasonably enough photo time after a brief yet comprehensive introduction of the memorials and places at each of the stops. Casual meals were taken along the trip, but that's not a key part of this short day trip. We made seven stops at the Capital finally and departed DC at around 4:30pm. Arrived at NYC nearly 9pm, a little bit later than expected due to a car accident and traffic jam along the highway. This one-day trip is highly recommended if you can't afford much time to visit the DC. Certainly it would be better if there are 2 to 3 days to spend in the Capital, but well, somehow we've got the maximum fun within our constraints. My family enjoyed this trip very much. Special thanks to the professional tour guide lady too!!
Guide made the long day tour manageable and ensured we had adequate time at each stop.
