The only reason that I did not give this four stars is because I wish it could have been a little longer. I will say that we got to see all of the major parts such as the White House, Smithsonian, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and others. It was rushed, I think lunch should have been included in the price.

It was a nice experience seeing those attractions usually seen on films and documentaries, so we felt a part of it.

While staying in NYC for a week, we thought it would be a good idea to see another city as well. The trip was great - staff were friendly and helpful and took good care of us. It was a perfect way to see the highlights of DC. Especially enjoyed the time in the Air and Space Museum. If you would like to spend lots of time there, this is not the tour for you, but it worked out well for us! Only comment would be that the bus was unmarked and we had to ask for help to find out where the bus was, which can be stressful in the cold and dark morning!

We enjoyed the trip. It was our second time to New York and we wanted to experience places we may not visit otherwise. The coach was comfortable, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We knew because of the distance involved that we would not have a great deal of time at all of the places of interest, but we had enough time to see the main points of interest and appreciate the city. I would recommend the trip to others if they want to see the capital.

Did this tour after a New York day tour where the tour guide was brilliant. The tour guide was not as vibrant or enthusiastic. The tour itself is very good but seemed less exciting.

Should have included Arlington Cemetery and a visit to the Capitol.

1.5 hours wasted at the Space Museum - totally unnecessary. Why is it still in the itinerary when many people have complained about it before.

Met my expectations and more! Did not expect to get to see so much on this tour. Washington D.C. is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. On the negative side - bus was late arriving in AM. Also , maybe I'm crazy but I think tips should not be requested - this should be covered in the fare.

Good sightseeing - but a long trip home to New York - the Smithsonian Museum did not interest us.

Tour meeting point was easy to find and guide was very good, knowledgeable, and multi-lingual. Traffic problems meant a long journey down but still fit in all the sights. Well structured itinerary providing a good length of time at each stop. All in all very good tour, only down side was air con problem with the bus meaning it was hot then cold then hot again on return trip.

The actual visit was excellent, even 2nd time around. However, having turned up at coach 1 hour early, we were last on coach because we were not on the list of travellers. Total indifference by the host on the bus and the lady in the office when I called was also less than apologetic. This was despite us calling before the trip as instructed to confirm our attendance. The tour guide was good.

The bus turned up late and to find our name was not on the list. One would think that after paying the full price, not a deposit and leaving a confirmation message prior to the tour that you would be on the list. However the tour operator was able to accommodate us and the tour was enjoyable. We visited the main attractions, considering the limited time available in Washington.

This is a long day, but it really is a great way to get a snapshot of Washington DC. We got to see most of the main tourist attractions.
