Very disappointed with this trip, but we do think that it was down to the guide that we unfortunately had who was very unprofessional & very rude to the driver. The guide rushed us through the itinerary & we found it very difficult to keep up with him, in fact many times by the time we caught up he was onto the next thing. There was too much rammed into to short of time. Definitely not for anybody who is not completely mobile.

Despite calling several times to confirm my tour and showing up in advance of the departing time, they got it wrong. I travelled on my own and, as the English speaking tour was overbooked, I was moved and 'accommodated' on the Italian tour bus. This was quite frustrating as the guide would only speak Italian and on occasion a word of English. On the plus side, you do see all the sites you wish to see and there is plenty of time for photos.

It was a bit tedious having multiple translations of the tour info. The guides were pleasant but far from personal and left the passengers to fend for themselves at the visit spots most of the time, rather than really 'guiding'. May have been due to logistical challenges of managing a large, diverse, group. Nevertheless, more thought could have gone into accommodating everyone's needs.

We were quite tired after so many hours in the bus, but there is nothing you can do about it. The tour was well organized and everything went as planned. We had booked our tour in Spanish, but the guide gave all the speeches in English and Italian, and only used Spanish if someone asked a question.

The day trip to Washington was too short, anyway i didn't wanted to miss it. We left NY. city 40 minutes later than we had to, some rain in Washington, you can't do anything about it. I would like to spend some more time in Washington, everything went very quick.

The tour guide was well informed about the different places we went and saw in Washington, D.C. However, the police ticketed our bus, and the bus was not able to move for several hours, which left us pretty much stranded at the monuments during a thunderstorm. Once we were finally on our way back to New York, the bus driver and the tour guide had a heated argument, and the bus driver used inappropriate words with children on the bus. We arrived back at Grand Central Terminal at 10:30 p.m. Very long day!!!

A great experience but not enough time in DC, a little over 3 hours. Ticketing thru Viator was excellent. Vouchers were validated without any problem at all.

The bus trip was long, and the toilet in the bus smelled really bad from urine. It was very unpleasant.

We lost about 45 minutes looking for two people at the museum before we even started our tour in Washington. Then we were rushed through the rest of the day.

We waited for an hour to leave on an unmarked bus after it was 15 minutes late. The tour was translated in three languages, but English was not the preferred one. The comfort breaks were timed, and it was always the tour operators who were 10 to 15 minutes late.

Departure was 1.5 hours late. Coach did not have a microphone for the commentary - making it impossible to hear guide at the back of the bus. Air conditioning in bus was not functioning correctly for passengers at rear of bus on a day when temperature was over 90F!! Due to late departure, tour was very rushed, no time for meals. Arrival back in NYC at 11pm. Guide did his best - passengers very angry at treatment!!

The guide tried, but couldn't really make this a particularly memorable trip. The time spent in DC is too short and time pressed. There is NO chance of visiting Arlington Cemetery which was a big disappointment for me. Some of the facts about the actual buildings visited were lost on the guide.
