The tour was great, but we saw the White House only from a distance. I wish the guides had allowed us to at least walk a little to the White House and Capitol Hill. I wonder if it was worth spending so much time on Arlington Cemetery. No disrespect meant, but surely Washington has better things to offer than glorified graves.

We were disappointed with the lack of time spent viewing the White House. In fact, we were given only a few seconds warning that we would be passing this landmark and caught only a fleeting glimpse of it in the distance. In contrast, we spent over an hour at the Arlington Cemetery, whilst interesting, this stop could have been shortened and therefore allowed more time to view the White House and other landmarks which we only drove past. I found that the guide was knowledgeable, however, the amount of information given and the speed in which it was delivered to us, made it difficult to keep track of what we were viewing.

The tour was OK but we saw more cemeteries than anything else. On the plus side Washington railway station was great and we did have time to walk around Capitol Hill before the bus trip.

Nothing great - you arrive in Washington to wait around 2 hrs for the tour to start. There's not much to do in and around the train station. The tour was ok, but nothing great. After the tour you have another 2 hrs before boarding the train back to New York. It was a waste of a day.
