It was a very long day but worth the effort.

A fantastic trip! What a beautiful city. The hop on hop off was a fantastic way to see all the sights. Pity there isn't an express train so there is more time to spend there.

Great tour. We wanted to see DC for a day but not spend the night, so this was the ideal way to go. Thanks.

Its worth going to Washington as there are many sights to see. the train left around 8:00 so we got their at lunchtime. The only problem we had was that the train going back to New York was at 19:30 and you can not go on a n earlier train, so this makes it a very long day.

A great trip but the day we chose happened to be extremely cold. Other than that it was a lovely and comfortable train ride and the 'hop on hop off' bus was good too. Thank you :)

The tour was great, but we saw the White House only from a distance. I wish the guides had allowed us to at least walk a little to the White House and Capitol Hill. I wonder if it was worth spending so much time on Arlington Cemetery. No disrespect meant, but surely Washington has better things to offer than glorified graves.

No problems at all - well organised from start to finish. Enjoyed the whole experience.

We did not have any time to go around the different places, but I did see it all by going on the bus. If I went again I would stay in Washington for a few days to look around properly!

We were disappointed with the lack of time spent viewing the White House. In fact, we were given only a few seconds warning that we would be passing this landmark and caught only a fleeting glimpse of it in the distance. In contrast, we spent over an hour at the Arlington Cemetery, whilst interesting, this stop could have been shortened and therefore allowed more time to view the White House and other landmarks which we only drove past. I found that the guide was knowledgeable, however, the amount of information given and the speed in which it was delivered to us, made it difficult to keep track of what we were viewing.

The tour was OK but we saw more cemeteries than anything else. On the plus side Washington railway station was great and we did have time to walk around Capitol Hill before the bus trip.

Nothing great - you arrive in Washington to wait around 2 hrs for the tour to start. There's not much to do in and around the train station. The tour was ok, but nothing great. After the tour you have another 2 hrs before boarding the train back to New York. It was a waste of a day.
