My wife and I took the World Trade Center walking tour. Our guide, Fred, was knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. At any point during the tour, whenever somebody had a question about what we were seeing, Fred would provide a fascinating answer. He arrived at the meeting point on time and did not rush the tour, despite the bad weather. This tour was a highlight of our trip and I absolutely recommend it and our excellent guide.
I give this tour 32 thumbs up and 5 Stars. Our tour guide Rob could not be more informative, enthusiastic and fun to be with. The 3 hours went so quickly yet I learned so much from this city that I have lived in all of my life. I already recommended this tour and Rob to several of my friends and hope to do another tour soon. Thank you! Rob is a smart and funny gem!
Our tour guide took us to many interesting sights in the financial district, explaining the history and sharing facinating facts about them. She also shared her knowledge and her own experience of what happened on that dreadful date of 9/11. Ground Zero was a touching place to visit. After the tour we wanted to dine in an area of the town that she had show us. Our guide was kind enough to take us to that area because it w as difficult to find. I would highly recommend this tour.
Annie our tour guide was amazing! She provided her real life experiences that made us all feel like we were there during the tragic days before/after 9/11. I have recommended this tour to many of my friends and colleagues should they make it back to NYC. Regards, Tim Lehman
Fantastic tour. Fred was an excellent guide who covered everything and so much more. 10 out of ten
Fred did an amazing job with this tour! He had a wealth of information and we felt like we were strolling through the streets of New York with a good friend who really has a passion for the history of NYC!
Definitely an eye opener. Pity the tour guide got sidetracked a bit during the tour.
Wed, October 22 - 2:30 PM was a delightful time with 10 walkers. Our guide made it a History of NY city tour, and we loved every minute. He walked us to the river, told us things that have happened in the area, showed us new buildings and landscaping. He also gave us personal help in finding the name on the wall of one we knew who had died in the tour.
The tour guide was very informative. Can't remember her name. She took us through St. Paul's Chapel and through the new buildings. We even had a complimentary cookie in the bakery shop. The tour ended at the fountains. All in all a great tour and good price.
Very informative tour. Highly recommend the tour to visitors to New York.
An emotional yet truly fabulous experience. Our guide brought the details of this terrible event to life during this short tour.
Incredible. Our guide Debbie left no stone un turned and was incredibly knowledgable about New York. Only six of us on the tour and she carried on for over 3 hours and even dropped us off the subway to get home. Really painted a picture as to what happened that day but more so as to the heroes of this city that helped re build. Couldn't recommend enough this tour. Will be suprised if it's not the highlight of our trip!
We did the 3 hour tour on December 21 and would highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Debbie, was great and was able to share her personal experiences from the day of 9/11, as well as before and after. She was highly knowledgable and despite the seriousness of the tour, was also able to make it an enjoyable and fun experience. Definitely recommend this tour if you're interested in learning more about the history of this terrible day and how NYC has recovered since.
Our tour guide, Debbie engaged and welcomed all 26 of us immediately. She provided amazing information about the tragedy, then the recoveries, memorials and plans to build 'bigger and better.' She was totally outstanding. I would do the same tour over again if it were lead by Debbie. I am planning to return to WTC to spend more time at eh pools. Hope you have a few other guides as good as Debbie!
This tour was an incredible insight to a horrific day for the individuals who live / work in New York. Our tour guide Debbie was so honest and shared her own insights and experience not only from the 9/11 terrorist attack but also the 1993 attack and the aftermath since the 9/11 attack and the dramatic change that has had on NYC. We as Brits cannot even come close to imagining exactly what that day was like when near 3000 people lost their lives but thankfully from Debbie's heartfelt insights we came somewhat close to envisioning the traumas which developed that day. We begun learning about the surrounding area and the way it had developed. If you are visiting NYC visiting the World Trade Centre is a must but if you do not do an actual tour you are only visiting the building and the museum of what us as Tourists would be gobsmacked to see however with a tour especially from Debbie herself you get to feel a small part of you was there that day. Thank you so much Debbie for everything. Have a great birthday HAPPY BIRTHDAY from Nathan and Rachel x
excellent tour lead by our guid Annie. she told us of her experiences of that fateful day and her approach left you in doubt of both sad and heroic memories. took us to places not in guidebooks but gave you an overall picture of the events of the day and developments since
This was a very moving walking tour : the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of inside information.
Unfortunately I had a fall in your gorgeous city and so couldn't go to the World Trade Center Walking Tour. I definitely have it on my list for next time! HK
Debbie was the best most sincere and respectful tour guide I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing whilst on her Tour of World Trade Center Walking Tour. Debbie knew all there was to know and understand about the area, impact of the devistation and the rebuild of the site. Debbie had an excellent and knowledgable answer to every question for every person on the tour. I found the tour to be excellant and helped my to understand the impact that September 11 had on New York and her citizens. A very moving experience. Many thanks Debbie for imparting your knowledge and skills. I very much respect you and your dedication to your work, your city and your country. Big hugs Meredith
