Hop On Hop Off Tour Auckland Explorer Bus

The Auckland Explorer Bus is a Hop On Hop Off Auckland sightseeing tour with commentary visiting the "Big 14 Attractions" of Auckland. Buses leave every 30 minutes (hourly in Winter). If you have limited time - this is the perfect way to explore the city. The Auckland Explorer can be a 1 hour tour, a morning tour taking in a few attractions such as Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World or the Auckland Museum, or choose to hop on and off all day visiting Auckland attractions along the way.

The route operates on a circular system, taking exactly 1 hour to complete each circle. With this system you won't feel pressured into visiting places that are not of interest or rushing through the attractions you wish to explore at leisure.

There is a comprehensive audio commentary on the bus as it travels around the circuit. The audio commentary is available in English only.

Schedule Details Departs: Daily Departure Point: The Ferry Building on Quay Street or Sky Tower on the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets, both located in downtown Auckland. Departure Time:

• From 9:00am and then every 30 minutes until 4:00pm on Summer Timetable (mid-October - mid-April).
• From 10:00am and then hourly until 4:00pm on Winter Timetable (April - October).
• Buses will operate throughout ALL holidays. The timetable operated will be the reduced Winter timetable (above). Dates affected include December 25, 26 (Christmas), January 01, 02 (New Year), January 29 (Public Holiday), February 06 (Public Holiday) and April 06, 08, 09 (Easter). Please also keep in mind closures for Auckland attractions.

• SKY TOWER - every 45 minutes and 15 minutes past the hour
• VICTORIA PARK MARKET - every 50 minutes and 20 minutes past the hour
